I don't read 1D fanfic, but this may possibly give me a fresh look at things.
Instead of just going for the typical 'sweet girl with self esteem issues meets One Direction, they eat carrots and all live happily ever after' concept, I'd like to suggest having the girl really not be a very nice person in the beginning. You could make her dislike them in the beginning and then gradually begin to warm to them and become more lovable. It's different, you probably won't like it, but it's an idea.
Okay everyone. I want to make a new One Direction movella but I do need an idea, name for the fanfic, and some character names. It's either going to be about Niall or Harry. So I REALLY NEED HELP and I...

A good way to get started, and other slightly useless tips.

Hello! I wish to contribute a few tips I've picked up over the course of my life to this wonderful forum.
    1. If you can't think of a way to start, use some speech. By this, I mean, have the first line of your Movella be speech. For example-
'Is it true?' she said, her eyes filled with hope.
    2. Please, please, please don't make them wake up at the end of it and it be a dream. It makes the reader feel cheated. That's okay for a small passage, though.
    3. Write what and when you want. Don't force yourself to write when you don't feel like it and don't make yourself write about a certain subject. If you've got something to say, say it. If you haven't, keep quiet. That way, when you do speak, it'll have more of an impact.
    4. Similies and analogies (spelling?) are your friends. A good one can add almost anything you desire to your piece when used properly.
    5. Break the rules. Reptition is sometimes good. Repeating 'and' is sometimes good. Everything your teacher told you, forget it. Except for good spelling and grammar. Don't forget that.
    Thx for the tipsxx

I like this but it's not really relevant to include One Direction in it. It could just be a boy, not Zayn as it doesn't have anything to do with One Direction at the moment.
That said, I really, really love this. Your writing is brilliant and so effective! One slight other tip is to make sure your spacing, spelling and grammar are good otherwise I won't enjoy it as much :(
Just war time boy ( staring Zayn Malik )
    Just war time boy...
Its May 1945 , Zayn Malik age 17 had a dream . That dream ended world war 2
