Hey everybody.

This is merely an introduction to what you're about to read, which is a story about asexuality - and my journey towards discovering my sexuality, including a playlist with various queer songs (listening is optional, but encouraged).

The playlist will be linked in the comments, as I have no idea how to make a link work, and some of the songs will be listed throughout the story.

If you didn't already know asexuality is a spectrum on the gray-sexuality scale in the LGBTQIA+ community (and no, A is for everything on the a-spectrum, not ally). This quote is from the Merriam-Webster dictionary:

"In general, an asexual person does not feel or otherwise experience any sexual attraction, according to The Asexual Visibility & Education Network (AVEN). Basically, it is an inborn absence of sexual desire."— Lindsay E. Mack

You can also find the link to an amazing comic I found that I really like and think you should take a look at too. It perfectly shows how you can long for something but still not want it at the same time.

(also how amazing that the colors of their hearts matches the color scheme of my cover).

I hope you enjoy :)
