11. Madness presents

Madness presents,

In the cold summers night,

It’s 3 am,

And I’m not alright,

Woke up to the sound,

Of a buzzing fly,

I tried to kill it,

But it wouldn’t die,

Then came the thunder,

The howling attack

Though the stars shined bright,

I couldn’t find my way back,

The world I had seen,

Escaped from my eyes,

Taking my brain,

As my heart slowly died,

I don’t remember inviting,

These trespassers in,

I just know,

They wouldn’t leave,

I tried to ignore,

Their lightening voices,

But I don’t think,

I’ll ever sleep
