Don't Let Go

"H-hello?" I answered my phone with my voice shaking nervously, as I walked towards my front door.
"Mira? Is something wrong? Why is your voice shaking?" He asked.
"Lou-" I began but another loud bang cut me off.
"What is going on Mira?!"
Nervously I opened the door, as my eyes set sight on him a loud pitch scream left my lips and my phone fell out of my hand. My legs quickly turned into butter as I found it was hard to stand up. Very faintly I heard Louis yelling my name from my phone.
"Mira…" He cried out before falling into my shaky arms

2. Chapter One

Buzz Buzz

I flickered my eyes open as the sunlight burst into the room through the curtains. I sat up rubbing the back of my head as I reached over and shut off my alarm. I sighed as I pulled my knees up to my chest sitting up in my bed.

"Mira!" I turned my head to see my best friend Addison running into my room.

"Yes Addie?" I said as I pushed myself off my bed and walked towards the bathroom.

"You'll never believe what I just saw on the TV!" She squealed as she jumped onto the counter.

"What?"

"That band that you were friends with last summer."

"What?" I looked at her confused.

"Yeah I guess there's word of a break up." She shrugged.

"What?!" I gasped.

"But who cares, they're so cute I am sure they'll make it no matter what."

"That's not the point Addie, those boys are family if they break up who knows how it will effect them mentally or emotionally." I groaned as I pushed past her towards the kitchen.

"Mira don't you think you're being just a bit over the top?" She sighed.

"No, you didn't get that close with them Addie."

"You're right I only sle-" She began but quickly stopped.

"I already know that you slept with two of them." I smirked at her.

"When did you find out?" She gasped.

"When it happened?" I laughed.

"What!"

"You aren't sneaky, you can't keep things from me." I shook my head laughing. "Plus they told me."

"I told them not to say anything." She pouted.

"People have problems not talking to me."

"Wait do you think they told each other?!" She gasped.

I just shrugged as I poured myself a cup of coffee. She had a look of panic across her face as she paced back and forth thinking about it. I just laughed to myself as I took a seat on the couch and flipped through the channels on the TV. Then I came across a channel talking about the boys and the whole breaking up thing. I quickly shut the TV off in anger. I know that it probably shouldn't make me so upset but it does.

"Lets go get something to eat." I suggested as I put my shoes on.

"Okay!" She smiled.

Walking down the street all we heard were the whispers about the break up, it was started to put me in a bad mood. When we finally arrived at the café I was very irritable and I knew that Addie could sense it. Just as I was about to snap on someone for talking about it again when I felt someone place their hand over my mouth. I turned my head to see a guy wearing a baseball cap and sun glasses smiling down at me.

"What the?" I growled as I pushed him away from me.

"Mira." He smiled, his voice sounded very familiar.

"Wait a minute." I gasped. "Niall?!"

"Ssssh!" He smacked his hand over my mouth again.

"What are you doing here?" I mumbled.

"I came to visit a friend." He smirked.

"Awh!" Addie squealed.

"Are you here alone?"

"Yeah I am." He chuckled.

"Are the rumors true?" Addison asked.

"Addie!" I growled.

"Sorry!"

Niall just chuckled at us but never answered the question. The next couple of hours he avoided any conversation about the others which made me very uncomfortable. However Addison seemed to enjoy having this alone time with Niall, I guess she was looking to change that number from two to three. I shouldn't judge because they are all very attractive, but doing this just makes it extremely uncomfortable for me. After about a few hours of catching up Niall left in a hurry, it wasn't soon after that we heard girls gossiping about seeing Louis a few blocks away. A pit started growing in my stomach making me uneasy.

"Mira.." I turned my head to see Addie looking at me confused.

"It's nothing." I nervously smiled at her.

The way she stared at me it was clear she knew something wasn't right. I tried to push the pit that was growing in my chest away but it seem to keep growing as we headed home. Once home I decided to jump into the shower hoping it would take some of the agony off my chest. Even though it didn't really take the pressure off my chest, the hot shower did ease my nerves a bit. That was until I came out into the living room, Addie was sitting outside on the balcony and the TV was on the news channel.

The news flashed the TV screen in bright letters. I could hear the millions of young broken hearts sobbing thinking this was the end of their little love fantasy. I turned the TV off and headed out to the balcony, where my best friend Addison was sitting staring off at the traffic that lined the streets below us.

"It's official now isn't it?" She asked taking a sip of coffee.

"Afraid so." I sighed taking a sit next to her.

"How do you think they are doing?"

"If I would have to guess?" I muttered. "Probably not well."

"Sho-" She began but the sound of my phone quickly cut her off. I got up and walked back inside to see my phone lighting up on the counter. As I reached for my phone a loud crash against my door caused me to nearly jump out of my skin.

"Mira…" He cried out before falling into my shaky arms.

"Mira!" I turned my head to see Addison running towards me with panic glued to her face. I could still hear Louis frantically yelling my name through the phone, but my attention was set on the man in front of me as my freshly clean clothes were changing clothes to that of a ruby red.

"Call 911 Addie, and hand me my phone please." I said as my voice shook with fear. She just nodded and quickly did as I asked. "Lo-lou?" I stuttered.

"Mira! What is going on?!" I could hear the fear in his voice.

"He just showed up…covered in bruises and cuts…" My voice seemed to get shakier and shakier.

"Who Mira?!"

"There's blood..  Oh Louis there's so much blood!" I began to cry.

"Mira, darling calm down.. You got to tell me who it is…" I could hear the nervousness thicken in his voice.

"It's Harry, Lou.." The tears just started pouring out.
