Starring into his eyes, I felt hypnotized. Everything I ever wanted was in front of me.
The blue eyed boy.
Every word I wanted him to say come out of his mouth. I was shocked.
“Jessica, say something!” He whispered.
“Niall, I-“

2. Chapter 2

Chapter 2:

“Once in a lifetime, maybe you meet someone who is instantly different from everyone else.

Whatever level it might be, the two of you belong together.

As just friends, or lovers, or something entirely different.

For some reason, you just work.

What is it called?

Not coincidence.

No sheer luck.

Fate sounds too good to be true.

Whatever it is, It makes me believe in something.”

~ A.R

“Wake up!!” Niall screamed in my ear as he pushed me off me bed.

How did he get into my room? Well my mother always lets him in, she’s not a normal mom.

“What!?” I yelled as landed on the soft carpet.

“Come with me please!” Niall begged running towards my closet, looking and throwing everything outside.

I looked at him confused, not knowing what that boy was talking about or why he was just throwing everything. He just shrugged it off and continued to look through my once neatly folded clothes.

“Go where?” I asked.

He looked over at me and rolled his eyes. That’s how I knew he wouldn’t tell me. He always did that to me when he had something planned. I stood next to him and saw my favorite romper, just as I was about the reach out for it, Niall handed me a brown skirt with buttons on the front of it that were silver; it was higher than knee length. I looked at it, never having the courage to wear it since I had bought it a couple weeks ago. He then handed me a black skin tight shirt, that was short sleeved and my black knee high boots.

“Curl your hair!” He demanded.

“Okay Dad,” I whispered.

“Jess! I’m serious! Today is a very important day for me! I really want you to be there!” He whined as he walked into my bathroom and connected my curling iron.

I rolled my eyes and took of my pjs. Niall walked back into my room and began searching through my jewelry, leaving a pair of silver earring on the dresser. I didn’t mind getting dressed in front of Niall, I mean every pair of best friends tend to “fall in love” and well maybe I had a small crush on him, since I was 12 years old. I mean who would pass the idea of being so confortable around your crush that you can see each other in undergarments? Niall has a great body, and although I was not 100% comfortable with mine, Niall always made me feel perfect. I threw on the outfit Niall chose for me and walked into the bathroom.

“What time do I need to be ready? Cause I need makeup.” I asked Niall as I looked at myself in the mirror.

“You look Beautiful,” he whispered knowing I needed to hear that, “just hurry, we have 40 minutes before I have to leave.”

I smiled and looked down as I began to lightly blush, this boy was amazing. I applied light makeup. I did my eyebrows and mascara, adding a bit or blush and contour to my face and began to curl the tips of my hair. When I was finally done, I walked downstairs to find my mom talking to Niall. She glanced over at me while a big smile appeared on her face.

“You look gorgeous,” my mom said as she pulled me into a hug.

My mom always told me I should become a model, it was something she always dreamed of for herself. The more I thought about the idea, I became more interested. My body was not perfect, or so I thought, but I was confident in who I was. It was a trait my mom always taught me, to be content with who you are and never let anyone make you think otherwise.

I thanked her as Niall stood up and we walked towards his car. His car was a grey Toyota that he took care of with all his heart. I continued to ask Niall where we were going, but he refused to answer. Niall was the type of person who liked to surprise others whenever he had the chance to, even though I hated being surprised because I liked to have everything planned. I continued to look through the window, admiring the scenery around us. Niall occasionally glimpsed at me and would smile as he continued to drive. The car came to a stop and there was a bakery in front of us. I couldn’t help but think about Harry, I hadn’t seen him in weeks. Niall got out of the car and I sat there thinking back to the banana bread Harry and I made. Niall walked back into the car and handed me my favorite twisted nut glazed donut. I smiled at him and began to eat it. We continued on the road for what seemed like hours until we were at a parking lot. I looked around and I saw a whole lot of people in line for some reason. They were all nervous looking and different ages, 16 and older.

“Where are we?” I asked Niall as he opened the door for me.

“ I have an audition, for the X factor. I really wanted you to come and watch me.” he stated before helping me out of the car.

We walked over to the sign up sheet and Niall wrote his name, receiving a number (232677). The women looked at me and handed me the sheet.

“I’m not signing up,” I said.

“You Sure?” She asked.

I nodded and Niall looked at me weirdly. I just shrugged it off knowing he wanted me to sing too.

Ever since I was younger, I was always humming and drumming my fingers to the beat of songs. Niall and I would always end up singing to any song we remembered, it was a passion we both shared. Niall’s voice was amazing, he really deserved this opportunity. Although I was somewhat good at singing, it was not something I wanted to do since I tended to get stage-fright.

We continued to walk towards the line up and Niall handed me a ticket, it was for me to sit in the front seats.

“Here, I got Incase you didn’t sign up.”

“Thank you Ni! You can do it!”

I began walking towards the entrance as I was texting Niall. My eyes were glued to my phone, as I wished Niall good luck. I walked straight, instantly feeling my body crash into another that was buff and tall. I looked up being met by bright blue eyes. He was taller than I was, but not as tall as Niall. He was thin and had the prettiest eyes I had ever seen. His hair was faced to the side, but his face was thin, so the hairstyle fit him.

“Sorry,” I whispered to the boy who was auditioning for the X factor. Which I noticed by his number (155204).

“Don’t worry love,” he said extending his hand and helping me up, “I’m Louis.”

“Jessica. Good luck today!”

“Thanks, love.”

“You aren’t auditioning?” He questioned.

“Just supporting other.”

I continued to walk towards the entrance and handed my ticket to the lady in the booth. I walked inside and my jaw dropped. It was huge, there were more than 200 seats and the stage was all everyone could see. I took my seat and waited for Niall to appear on stage.

Later, after hearing many people sing, I realized who the toughest person to get to was, Simon Cowell. I smiled as I looked on stage and the blue eyed boy walked in with a smile.

“What’s your name?” Asked Simon.

“Louis Tomlinson.”

“Off you go.”

“Oh it’s what you do to me. Oh it’s what you do to me. What you do to me,” he sang

I clapped as he stopped signing, his voice was amazing, he really deserves a spot, he was talented. Suddenly, all I hear was Simon say, “you got three yeses.” His face light up and he began to thank them as he walked out of stage feeling accomplished.

Later on, I saw the green eyed boy walking out to stage with confidence. His curls flowing perfectly the same as I remembered them.

“Nice to meet you, what’s your name?” Simon asked him.

“Harry Styles,” he said.

“Okay Harry, how old are you?”

“So tell me a bit about yourself.”

“I work at a bakery on Sundays. I finished my studies and I’m off to college to study business and law”

“What are you doing here today?”

“Well I’ve always wanted to audition, but I’ve always been too young.”

“Okay, alright. What are you going to sing?”

“I’ll do isn’t she lovely by Steve wonder.”

“Off you go.”

“Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she wonderful? Isn’t she precious? Less than one minute old. And I never thought, through love we’d be, Making one as lovely as she. Isn’t she lovely made from love,” he sang.

The crowd cheered after his voice filled the room. I smiled knowing that he had sang that song to me before he did to the whole audience. I began to clap and our eyes met. He smiled at me and looked towards the judges. Everyone’s eyes were on Simon as Nicole had said yes, but Louis Walsh has said no. Simon then said yes and the audience screamed and I did too.

After the auditions, I waited for Niall outside of the building; his mom had already headed home and Niall was driving me back home. I looked down at my phone and saw Niall’s message that he’d be here in 30 minutes. I sat down on the bench and began looking through my phone until someone approached me.

“Hello love! I haven’t seen you in ages,” Harry said with a smile as he leaned in to hug me.

I hugged him back, feeling his warmth through my shirt. His smell of cologne filled my lungs as I inhaled and pulled away from the hug seconds after.

“You did so good today,” I said with a smile.

“Thanks love, I didn’t know what song to sing and then I just remembered you.”

I smiled like an idiot, how sweet can this boy be?

“Really?” I asked.

“Yeah, I’m glad you were here.”

“Me too, my friend Niall auditioned and he got in too, so I’m glad you did too. You’re a great singer.”

“Thank you, you were my Goodluck charm. What are you doing here?” He asked referring to me sitting alone on a bench.

“Waiting for Niall, he’s running late,” I said looking down at the time.

“I can take you home,” Harry said politely.

“It’s okay, i don’t want to bother you,” I said looking down.

He lifted my chin up slowly and said, “I insist.”

He grabbed my arm and lead me to his car with a smile plastered on his face. I thanked him and texted Niall and I got a ride home. I sat on the passengers seat while Harry began to drive.

“Since you know what I want to be later on in life, what do you want to do?” Harry asked curiously.

“Well I’ve been looking towards acting or something like that,” I said unsure.

“That’s cool.”

“Besides working in a bakery, what else do you do?”

“I’m in a band called white Eskimo, with a couple of mates.”

“That’s awesome!”

We continued to talk for the whole car ride. As we began to approach my house, our conversation deepened.

“When my mum and dad got a divorce, it was really hard for me,” Harry whispered, “but then she married Robin, and he’s a great lad. Always making her smile and he’s always here for me and Gemma.”

“Im glad she’s happy with him. My mom never remarried after my dad. It’s just me and her now.”

“Well I’m here for you, you don’t need your dad,” Harry said with a cheeky smile.

I giggled as the car came to a stop. Harry sighed as he looked at my house.

“I wish I had more time to talk to you, I enjoy our conversations.”

“Me too,” I said looking at my house.

Harry got out of the car and opened the door for me. He helped me out and we began walking to the door step making small talk. Just when we reached the front door, we came to a stop. Harry pulled out his phone and handed it to me.

“Can I have your number? I’d really like to see you again,” he asked as Hope filled in his eyes.

I nodded and began to type my number on his phone. I quickly called my phone so I had his number and handed it back to him.

“I’ll see you soon then?” Harry asked.

“Yeah, thank you for bringing me home.”

“Saturday,” Harry said.

I looked at him confused to why he said a random day.

“I’ll pick you up at 7 on Saturday, so we can get out.”

“Go out?” I asked.

“Would you go on a date with me?”

I smiled and nodded my head. He leaned in and placed a kiss on my cheek. A blush creeped on my cheeks as he pulled away. A smile appeared on his face. I waved goodbye as he pulled away from the driveway and walked inside, instantly taking a deep breath as my back slid down the door. I placed my hand on my cheek, feeling his warm lips still placing a kiss there. Harry Styles had an effect on me that I couldn’t not control.

Do I like Harry Edward Styles? A guy I just met a couple weeks ago?
