for people who love mythology! in this story, i have tried to include many types of mythical creatures and cool facts about them.
If there is any mythical creatures that i have missed out then please ask me to put it in my book

14. manticore

A manticore Is thought to be either a Persian mythical creature (Where it was known as the "Man eater") or a Greek mythical creature, similar to the Egyptian sphinx, which has the head of a human, the body of a loin and the tail of a scorpion, however some tales say that it has a tail full of poisonus spines that are able to shoot at will.

It is said to have three rows of teeth, allowing it to eat its victims whole, leaving barely a bone, or even any belongings behind, leaving no traces of it hunting.

It is also equipped with speeds no mortal could reach and incredible strength.

Unlike the Sphinx, the manticore is unable to make any human sounds. Despite having a human head, it has to make do with strange sounds, or sometimes musical noises.
