8. Sun

1 April 2018

The sun blinds

white hot light

into grey blue.

The colours swirl

creating black dots

through my vision.

Wear those sunglasses,

expensive Michael Kors,

block the rays

from blinding you.

I like pain

felt from sun

to my eyes.

It reminds me

I am alive.

Cherish your eyes

shield from harm.

They are delicate

those grey blues

so care relentlessly

from blinding light.

written after sunlight was shone directly into my eyeballs on an airplane xx
