4. To llyushka // Friends?

Dear llyushka,

You seem to be in a big pickle here.

I understand how you're feeling about the racist and homophobic comments. I hate it when people are racist. It's one of my biggest pet peeves. And it's clear that you don't want to be friends with her. I guess the only thing you can do is ignore. If she's coming towards you, either turn the other way or look straight ahead and ignore.

Or you can pull her aside and talk to her and just her. Tell her that you don't like how she makes the racist and homophobic jokes. Tell her that it offends you and other people. See if she can keep the jokes to herself. And if she can't seem to put it to a minimize then cut her off.

Having a friend like that is not fun. They're rude and they think that they can say whatever. Start hanging with other people. Tell her that you can't be friends with someone who acts like that. And if she's not willing to change just a tiny flaw because it offends other people, then it's clear that she's not worth your friendship. You're not telling her to change her whole personality, you're just asking to stop with the rude jokes that other people aren't really finding it funny.

I hope this was helpful to you. Don't hesitate to comment down any other problems you're needing advice on!

Sincerely,

Zireee
