Unforgettable - Love Story -

Quinn Diaz was just a normal popular girl at her school. Her best friend was the most popular girl in existence - due to fame. One day Sierra, her best friend, had persuaded her to do something completely evil. Quinn went up to the well-known blind kid at school named Joseph Caddy and shoved a pie in his face. Joseph eventually fought whoever was in front of him and accusing them of pie-facing him. The results ended up with Joseph and Quinn both getting into ISS.

Will something spectacular happen for them? Will they eventually become friends?

8. Chapter 7

Quinn’s POV

“So, you mean to tell me, you pied Joseph Caddy in the face – even though he’s blind – and caused him to beat up Dale?” PJ asks me, intertwining his fingers.

Dale smirks sarcastically and points at his badly bruised face. Alex widens his eyes with a mouth purse, nodding his head as well. Theo gives me the, “you better say you did” look. Sierra sits with a resting bitch face, waiting for my reply. Jenny, Joseph’s sister si’s with great annoyance and cross-armed in another chair.

Tuck, Geo, and Harvey (aka joseph’s minions) lean up against the wall with no serious facial expressions. Finally, Joseph sits quietly and listens with an evil smirk on his face. I reluctantly nod to answer PJ’s question.

“Yes, that was me. I did it and I’m sorry.”

Joseph let’s out a snorting laughter. Everyone looks in his direction.

“Damn, you’re more selfish than me!” He exclaims with a laugh. I cock an eyebrow at him, even though he can’t see me.

“Glad to hear you admit.” I snark back, looking at Dale. He looks pissed off.

“I just find it funny on how you guys thought you could pick on me without punishment.”

“I find it funny how you think you’re more superior than anyone else in the world. You literally think you own the universe!” I shout over people’s groans. Everyone is obviously annoyed.

“Will you two shut the hell up?” Jenny scolds.

Jenny whips her long curly black hair over her pale revealing shoulder. She looks like Joseph so far, I mean – you can tell they’re related. Her pale skin, freckles, and she have green eyes. I don’t exactly recall what Joseph’s eye color is.

“Are you sure this is not a joke or anything?” PJ asks again for reassurance.

“I’m positive – “I take a quick glance at Sierra, for her reaction – which is looking at me in a serious way as in, “You better say you did it” look.

“All of this is my fault and no one should take the consequences for what I did.”

PJ pouts his bottom and raises his eyebrows in amusement. The gray-haired old man is quite interesting if you ask me. His real name is Mathew Johnson, but he goes by PJ for short.

“What’s taking so long? Can we leave already? She just admitted she did it.” Alex hustles like a brat. Everyone glares at him, including Joseph, which is surprising.

PJ strokes his gray-hared chin and slightly nods.

“I suppose you all can leave...” he pauses, “Except Quinn and Joseph must stay.”

Everyone nods and starts to walk out the door. Dale walks over and puts his lips to my ear and says,

“See you at the game.”

Dale knows I don’t want him to play! I shake my head and roll my eyes. When Dale wants to be cocky, he will be. Right now, I’m the target, and I don’t even know why I listened to Sierra when she told me to shove the pie in Joseph’s face. I’m smarter than that.

“Too bad you won’t be able to go because you’re spending three months with me.” Joseph sneers.

PJ tells us to wait in here as he went and talked to our teachers. As soon as the old man shut the door behind him, I grab Joseph’s expensive shirts collar, and aggressively say into his face,

“Listen you, I know we’ll be together for three months, but do one shitty thing and I will destroy you.” I release his collar and collapse back to my chair. I look at him, he does nothing but smile.

“Destroy me?” he laughs, “I’d like to see you try.”

I just shake my head and ignore him. He is right, how would I destroy a kid who has more money than the president and is capable of more things than you think? Then, this reminds me of something. Ellie, the girl that got along with Sierra. She is Joseph’s mentor.

“Where’s that Ellie chick? Isn’t she supposed to be here teaching you to have some respect?”

A wide grin spread across his face. This grin is no normal grin, this grin is evil – or suspicious. The grin is not good. He bites his bottom lip like some supposed fuck-boy.

“She’s at my house, waiting for me.”

“Yeah? Well, she should really be here.”

“I agree.”

When he says that, he says it in a sexual sort of way. In a kind of seductive tone. Oh my god. Please tell me Joseph and his mentor aren’t –

“Why did that sound so seductive?” I ask, turning in my chair to face him. His face turns to mine.

“Was it seductive? I fucking hope so.” He chuckles, flashing me his pearly white teeth. Geez, how can this over-privileged-white-rich-blind boy have zero flaws – aside personality?

“Okay...”

“What about you and Dale? You guy’s didn’t seem too peachy a couple minutes ago.” He brings up, accidentally dropping his cane. He easily picks it up without even looking or searching.

“We’re fine, thank you.”

“Don’t thank me, princess, beg for my mercy.” He says as the widest grin appears on his face as he puts his hands together and pretends to pray.

“Wow, okay you’re a douche.” I remind, stating the obvious.

“No, I am king. Just ask Jacki.”

“Who the hell is Jacki?” I ask.

“She’s someone who calls me master and serves me anything I wish for.”

“Oh my god, you are too freaking spoiled.” I point out.

“Too bad you aren’t.” Joseph sneers with a stupid tone in his voice.

“Oh, you’re just classy aren’t you?” I ask sarcastically. Joseph is probably the most annoying human being on planet earth. That’s saying something because I’m friends with Alexandrio Reef.

“The classiest.” He says, like an ass-hole.

I shut up and stop talking to him. I’d rather kill myself than have to hand out with this kid in ISS for three freaking months. You know when teens reach the part of life where they just want to die, they have major depression, or they like super dark things?

Yeah, I’ll be suffering for three months.

------

When I arrive at home, my mom is sitting on the sofa drinking tea and looking unpleased with me as usual. Theo is in the kitchen cooking. Our house is mostly brown and black, kind of like a cabin style home. We have a built-in flat screen TV, logged walls, and wooden almost everything. My dad and Theo like the outdoors, so I guess that’s how we’re going to live from now on.

“Quinn.” She says. Or, I don’t know if she greeted me.

“Hello,” I reply.

“Get me more tea, I’ve been at work all day and it’s just so hard.”

“K,” I say as I take her cup and head to the kitchen.

My hand rummages through the cabinets and attempts to find another tea bag. To my luck, I find one hidden in the back of the cabinet above the stove. I heat up her water and put the tea back in, returning it to her in a process of two minutes.

“Do you have good grades?” she asks, not thanking me for helping her first thing when I got home.

“Yes.”

“Okay, but ISS will make you have bad grades, which means you won’t get into a good college.” She states in kind of an unnecessary bitchy tone.

“Okay.”

I try and walk upstairs to avoid her. Theo intercepts with me going downstairs. He’s such a mommy’s boy. I slow down at the top of the wooden staircase and listen to their conversation.

“Did Quinn cure everything that got you in trouble?” She asks him. I can faintly hear them.

“Yes, mom.”

“Good, that girl isn’t going anywhere because she has no job, and cares too much about drama. She also has boyfriend.” My mother’s Asian accent and grammar interfere with her English.

“But, I have a girlfriend...”

“Yea, but she’s famous. Quinn’s boyfriend only watch Tv and he only eat food.”

Ouch. Totally offensive! Dale is cute and sweet, unlike Joseph. Sierra isn’t even nice half the time. She’s only happy when her parents are both together at once, which is usually every two months. When you live in an Asian household, things aren’t exactly the most caring – or kind.

I give up on listening in on their insulting conversation and run upstairs with tears in my eyes. Today has been the most interesting day of my life. First, I “confess” of being the “one” who “made” Joseph beat up Dale, second I have a long conversation with this stupid kid and he ends up just being a seductive douche bag, and third, my mom insults me and favors Theo. Not surprised.

I lie in bed and wait for tomorrow, debating on if I should just pretend to be sick. Nah – my Asian mom would notice.

A/N: Quinn's mom is so asian.
