Sex Addiction

Calum Hood is a sex addict who can't seem to control his need for sex. Any position. Anywhere. Anytime. Sex. But when a new girl comes to town, he can't help but want her more than anything. But surely he just wants her body, right? Isn't that just the addiction talking?

5. ~ Maria's Jealousy ~

- Calum's POV -

"Hey, babe!"

I turned around, shutting my locker as I heard a familiar voice. My expression turned to one of annoyance when I realized who it was.

"What do you want?"

I snapped as Maria came bouncing up, her red hair streaming behind her. "Oh, nothing. Just making sure you weren't still hanging out with that bitch Lucy Rodgers." She responded, flipping her hair over her shoulder as she stopped in front of me.

Rage rose up inside of me. "First of all, I'm not your 'babe'. Second, don't call Lucy that if you want to live to see another day." I growled, a pronounced scowl appearing on my face.

Maria's eyes flashed with shock, then anger, before her features settled into what she clearly thought of as a cute-looking, playful pout. Hurl.

"Aww, don't be like that, Calum. You're no fun when you're grumpy." She said, sticking out her bottom lip. Should I break to her that she looks like a mentally disabled three-year-old? "Maria, we're done. Leave me alone." I said, pushing past her and walking to class.

She flounced off to her clique. I rolled my eyes as I walked into the classroom. I sat at my desk and set my books down. I was looking around the room when suddenly, Lucy was sitting in my lap.

I felt heat rise in my cheeks. "H-hi." I stammered. Even though we had started doing this more often, Lucy sitting with me, I still blushed every time. "Hi." She said, the usual playful smirk appearing on her face.

"I saw the conversation with you and Maria. I thought I would do something to prove that you're not hers anymore." Lucy said, grinning mischievously. "If Maria had sat in my lap, she would have been pushed off." I responded, chuckling.

Lucy smiled again before standing and heading back to her desk. That's when I noticed Maria in the classroom doorway, an expression of annoyance on her face. She had clearly just witnessed the entire exchange between Lucy and I. Her expression filled me with satisfaction, and I grinned even more.

\ Lucy's POV /

This relationship is confusing.

I sit in Calum's lap every other day, and he is fine with it, so obviously we both like each other. But are we official? Like boyfriend and girlfriend? I dunno.

Maria has started being more mean to me as the first weeks of school are coming to an end. Her group has been tripping me in the halls and leaving mean notes in my locker. I talked to Tess about it yesterday.

"Tell Calum. He'll probably, like, beat them up for you or something." She advised. "I know, that's what I'm afraid of." I replied. I don't want Calum to get in trouble for me.

It is cute how protective he is of me, though. When Maria called me a bitch, I thought he was going to explode, he looked so mad. But the other day he got Maria back by doing something that made her more jealous than ever.

Calum came up to me during lunch, ensuring he had her entire group's attention. "Hey, want to go out to dinner with me tomorrow night? I know a great place downtown." He said. I said yes, of course.

Maria was sooo mad. Tess and I were trying not to laugh at the expression on her face. Speaking of Tess, though, she's coming over tomorrow afternoon to help me get ready for my date. I'm super nervous but super excited at the same time. Mostly, though, I'm just really happy that the boy of my dreams asked me out.
