Four friends

Four muggle born friends arrive at Hogwarts.
The timeline is a bit messed up, but whatever, ignore it.

6. Damn It!

After the lessons had finished I grudgingly walked to McGonagll's office.

I peaked through the crack and saw her sat at her desk doing paperwork, she wasn't talking so I assumed that she was alone.

I burst through the door and exclaimed "I'm here!"

I saw her jump slightly and out if the corner of my eye I saw Remus flinch.

I sat next to him and apologised.

McGonagll lead us to a tree that was out in the grounds. Me and Remus started down the passageway at the base of the tree.

We reached the and of the passage and came out at what would later be known as 'The Shrieking Shack'.

"You should go." Muttered Remus.

I looked across at him, "Why?"

"I don't want to hurt you."

"How could hurt me Remus?" I asked softly.

"Please, just go." He pleaded, I saw tears in his eyes.

I put a hand on his shoulder and started to walk out, I stopped on the base of the stairs and sat down, I glanced down at the scars on my arms, then out of the window, the moon was coming out from behind a cloud, not long now I thought, by thoughts were interrupted by a scream that echoed down the stairs, Remus.

I turned to go up the stairs, then I remembered, the moon was out I stayed down and did nothing until I felt the familiar feeling.

"Damn it!" I cursed as I slowly began to change into a wolf.

I heard a howling sound, Remus too?

I managed to stay downstairs for a while, then the human part of me blacked out and I lost control.

I woke up on the cold wooden floor, I could taste blood in my mouth, oh no I thought.

I lay there for a while, thinking, slowly regaining my strength until I finally attempted standing up, it hurt, but I managed to drag myself to the hospital wing.

Remus was already lying on one of the beds, he was unconscious.

Madame Pomphrey rushed over to and apologised for not getting me straight away, she set me down on a bed and started to treat my wounds, I was hurt worse than Remus, but I didn't notice at all, "It's shock." Madame Pomphrey told me.

I didn't care whether it was shock or not, I just cared that I had probably hurt Remus.
