It was time for Sirius to leave his family, they didn't love him, and he certainly wasn't going to waste his time with them, especially when the Potter's are there.
But what happens when two strangers confront Sirius, telling him of their relations to the Black Family, seems like he doesn't know all the secrets of his family.
Sirius also possess his father's ring, after Walburga and Orion are brutally murdered one night, but that ring holds magic and also a message for Sirius.

1. Sirius Orion Black

Sirius Black opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was the rotting ceiling of his bedroom, he sighed and pushed himself up off his bed, hissing as his bare feet touched the cold polished floorboards of Grimmauld Place. He loathed this place more than anything, only really because of the residence. His brother, mother, and father. Orion Black was a tall figure who held the power in this house, and was a rightful twat to Sirius, Sirius looked like an exact copy of Orion, which he hated the most, but it did make him handsome, his mother was no exception, she was a horrible witch. Her long nose was the worst out of all of her features, her light blonde hair was now starting to grey on the edges. His little brother Regulus, always the talk of the family, the one who is destined for greatness after being sorted into Slytherin. God, Sirius cringed, it was Hogwarts fault for causing this pain on him, he was fine before he was sorted, he was treated like any other child, the only thing that bothered him was that he didn’t want to marry his cousin, Bellatrix. She was beautiful, her curly hair rested past her shoulders, and her eyes were rimmed with lashes so long that he wondered if she brushed them as well. She too wasn’t very keen on marrying into her family, not because it was Sirius, she didn’t mind him. But the fact that it was based on incest, after all, Sirius’s parents were cousins. It made him sick.

He groaned internally and quickly got dressed, his mother was downstairs in the kitchen, already seated and eating, ‘hurry up and eat’, her eyes trained on him, which he ignored, he was used to it.

‘Good morning to you too’.

He said as he sat down and began eating, Regulus was already at the table, ‘so Regulus, I heard you got into the Duelling Club for Slytherin’, his mother beamed, and Sirius rolled his eyes, every single little detail about Regulus was amazing to her, Sirius had been allowed access to Gryffindor’s Duelling Club from the first year, and his mother hadn’t even batted an eyelash at him.

‘Yes mother, I was so excited, I’ll be starting when we go back’.

Regulus smiled up at her, then his eyes rested on Sirius, turning cold, ‘and what of you Sirius?’ His tone was steely and Sirius was tempted to smack the crap out of Regulus, he may be on his mother and father’s good books, but he had no right to talk to Sirius as if he was the superior one.

‘I don’t know If you two were aware, but I’ve been in the Duelling Clubs for most of my Hogwarts years, it’s a shame you only managed to get in now, I thought I’d expect more from you little brother, you’re obviously not taking after me’.

God, Sirius felt wonderful when his brother’s smirk was wiped from his face, and a sharp whisper of his name was passed his way. He continued on eating. Orion Black entered the kitchen, he glared at Sirius, who was now slumped back in his chair, ‘so, you two will be heading back to Hogwarts tomorrow? Am I right?’ Orion said as he sat down, away from Sirius, but closer to Regulus.

‘Yes, around nine o’clock in the morning’.

Sirius replied as he picked at his food, ‘right’. Orion Black wasn’t anywhere near as bad as Walburga, he just didn’t care for Sirius anymore, he still spoke to Sirius as if he was a human being though, which wasn’t too bad.

‘When you return to Hogwarts, I don’t want you to hang around with that Potter boy and his mates’.

Walburga sneered and Sirius looked up from his plate, ‘as far as I’m aware, that’s not your call’, there was a clatter of cutlery and his mother was on her feet. Orion groaned in annoyance, rubbing his temples, ‘don’t you dare speak to me in that tone!’ She yelled at Sirius, who wasn’t fazed at all with her shrieking voice, ‘you will do as I say’.

‘And I’ll do what I want, after all, it won’t make sense if I were to hang around with Slytherin’s anyway, I am a Gryffindor’.

Orion tapped the table, seeing that his wife was fuming, where they could literally see smoke coming out from her ears, ‘Walburga, darling, that’s enough, let him be, if something happens to him, then it’ll be only one mouth to feed now’. Sirius almost flinched at that comment, but he knew his father was only trying to take a rise out of him, and he wasn’t going down that easily.

Sirius left the house not long after breakfast, he didn’t have much to do back home anyway, no one wanted to know him. So he contacted James, who always seemed to be free, and asked if he could come over.

‘Sirius, why do you keep on asking? Just apparate here!’

James laughed at him when he embraced him, James Potter was Sirius’s closest friend, they had met on a train, along with Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew. He was tall and lanky, sporting dark brown hair and round spectacles, ‘how’re you doing back home?’ He asked in a whisper because he knew how sensitive Sirius was about talking about his family.

‘Nothing has changed, they still don’t want to know me’.

‘You can stay here if you like, mom and dad won’t mind’.

‘I need to talk to them first’.

‘Don’t worry about it, I’ve already spoken to them already’.

‘Yep, and they said it’s fine, there’s no problem, you’re already like a son to them’.

Sirius couldn’t help but blush, a son, an actual son, ‘thank you James’, he said as they walked up the to the grocery store. Mrs. Potter was making lunch, but had used up a certain ingredient and had asked the boys to go and get it for her, after all, the grocery store was just up the road.

‘Are you excited about tomorrow morning, I can’t wait to get back into my school clothes again’.

‘I was afraid you were going to say about studying again’.

Sirius laughed, ‘you would’ve given me a heart attack’, James lightly punched him in the shoulder, ‘oh god no Sirius, I hate the studying part!’

‘The only thing you’re going to study is Lily Evans’.

Sirius laughed harder when James’s face turned red, ‘shut up Sirius, what about you? What’re you going to do when you get back?’

‘I don’ t know, maybe prank the first year Slytherin’s, they’re quite snobby, but I was thinking of pranking my brother’s year as well’.

‘Good call, I think we can arrange something like that’.

‘Might as well prank all the Slytherin’s in the school’.

The grocery store was cold, as usual, Sirius would always stand in front of the chicken holder, the heat radiating off of it was wonderful, he could be there all day, but they had to get home after they go what they wanted.

‘Have you been in touch with Remus?’

James asked and Sirius shook his head, ‘mom and dad are starting to think that something is wrong with him, and I seriously, don’t want that to happen, not now, not when we’re about to graduate’.

‘Oh god, when did they have the sneaking suspicion?’

‘Last summer’.

‘And they haven’t said anything else?’

‘Because I haven’t written to him, or mentioned him, mother’s completely forgotten that he exists in my group’.

‘How about Peter?’

‘Nah, not point, he never replies back’.

‘You’re still not sending the messages to his old address just to get out of talking to him right?’

‘...... And what of it?
