The first sign of trouble for Ellison Grange was that the blaring sirens of the warm beach had disrupted his sleep. Amie Harrold, his girlfriend, was yawning. She smiled at him. "Aren't you going to marry me this winter?", she asked him. "Yes", Ellison answered her. He saved the wedding ring for the wedding; he was focused on the patrols that were on the sand. Amie, who was twenty-five, was one year older than Ellison. They had met during a fraternity and sorority party back in 2008 during their college years. Both of them were inseparable ever since. "Have you heard about the recent shark attacks in Shark Bay?", Amie asked him. Ellison nodded. "There hasn't been any for awhile. We have to be careful", he answered her. She wrapped her arms around his body and kissed him.

Ellison got out of bed. He had a quick shower. Ten minutes' later, he turned the faucets off. Then he was dressed in his grey patrol clothes. He put on his black socks, and grey boots. He then grabbed his I-phone, and wallet. "I'll be all day at the beach. See you later, Amie. I love you". She smiled. "I love you, too". And she got out of bed. She walked in her red nightgown, and headed to the bathroom...then closed the door behind her.

Carolina Sanchez swam in the 52 degrees weather. It was freezing. She had looked at Shear's Point which was to the left; she looked at Ellis Island, to the right. As her legs splashed in the deep water, she thought she saw a large shark fin. Before she could do anything, the eighty meter long Great White Shark opened its huge mouth. It's teeth bit into her right hand. "God! Oh, God!", she yelled. Blood gushed from the wound. And, as she died, she saw the look of terror on her face as she died.
