2. Princess Hemmings

I felt like my body was on fire, as I did another push up, my arms shaking like crazy.

''Everybody do 10 more, since Private Hemmings here can't do pushups. Or should I say, Princess Hemmings.'' I felt a foot against my back, pushing me down to the ground harshly, making my wrist turn in a strange way, as pain shot through me.

I nearly yelled out, but remembered what Sir Irwin told me about crying out in pain at small things.

I heard the others groan, as I swallowed the lump in my throat, before getting back up, and starting to do the pushups.

Its seems that Sir Irwin was happy with me, because he let us all go shower, five minutes earlier than we normally did.

''Private Hemmings, come over here.'' I swallowed at the sound of Sir Irwin's voice, and I turned around, walking over to him, straightening my back.

''Why are you still here, Private Hemmings.'' His hazel eyes looked straight into mine, not a single emotion being shown.

''Sir, because you told me to talk to you, Sir.'' I raised my voice like we always had to, looking straight forward.

''I don't mean right here, right now. I mean. Why are you still here Private? Why have you not run home to your soon to be father in law, crying telling us, we have been too strict.'' His voice echoed through my head, as the sun was shining brightly.

''Not to offend, Sir, but you told me I was a pussy if I yelled in pain from a mild grip. So, your mild treatment, is nothing for me to yell or cry about, Sir.'' I kind of felt like crying, but I knew it would only show how weak I truly am.

''You think I'm going easy on you, Private.'' He spat the words out as if I disgusted him.

''No Sir. I think your treating me like you should, showing me to respect you, Sir.'' I clenched my jaw, as he walked in circles around me.

''And are you respecting me, Private.'' He stopped in front of me, looking into my eyes again.

''Sir, Yes, Sir.'' I swallowed the lump, before he let me go back to the showers, where I saw everyone was already gone.

I should probably tell you this.

Sir Irwin is the general in the tent I'm in, and he is the person sleeping above me, though I know he barely sleeps. He comes into the tent late at night, and gets up again early in the morning.

And I only know, since my insomnia has gotten worse lately, since we're not allowed to take any medication, so I can't take my sleeping pills.

Instead I just read until the sun has gone down, which is around 1 in the morning, and then I try to sleep until the sun rises again at 5.

-

I heard shuffling above me, as the bed moved a bit, before I saw a pair of legs swing over the edge of the bed above me.

Sir Irwin then jumped down, grabbing his shoes, since he was already fully dressed, before he looked around the room shortly, making me shut my eyes quickly.

I heard him let out a sigh, before he walked out of the room, closing the door gently.

I started at the bottom of the bed above me, for a few minutes, before I stood up and got on my clothes.

I'd better get up now, instead of just lying there.

I had gotten a lot more muscle in the month I had been there, and I had grown on hole in my belt, making the clothes fit me a bit better, but not that much.

I didn't take on my jacket, since it was rather warm outside.

I grabbed my shoes and pulled them on, tying the, before standing up, and walking out of the room.

I looked around, and it was as if the whole camp was a ghost town.

I couldn't see a single person, and decided that I would take a walk.

I followed the path that we would run on every second day, since I had seen a beautiful lake while we were out running.

I hummed softly, listening to the birds and sounds around me, making me lat out a happy sigh.

As I got to the lake, I noticed some clothes laying on a rock, and when I looked over the lake, I saw someone swimming.

Or... Not exactly swimming.

The guy was more like...

Jerking off.

I quickly hid behind a tree, praying that it wasn't one of the guys who had decided to throw their trash on me two days ago.

I heard the moans of the guy, and I felt myself get slightly turned on, but I quickly made it go away, since I had a lot of practice with that.

Believe me.

Being in an all boys school my whole life, really changed me.

I heard a loud, scratchy moan, signaling that the guy came, as he mumble a name I didnt quite catch.

Only that it started with L.

I swallowed the lump in my throat, ready to run away.

Suddenly I heard a splash like sound, and someone ruffling with fabric.

I then decided that it would be better if I just sneaked off.

But of course it wasnt my day, and I stepped on a stick, making it crack, the sound echoing through the woods.

I swallowed the lump in my throat, and before I knew it, I was thrown to the ground, as someone held around me neck, making all the air inside of me, gat thrown out.

I looked up, and realised it was Sir Irwin, and he probably saw it was me, because he quickly let go of me, standing up. But before I had a chance to do the same, his foot was pressed against my chest.

''What are you doing out here Private.'' He looked into my eyes, and I swear I saw some embarrassment in his eyes.

''Nothing, Sir. I was just taking a walk, Sir.'' I looked into his eyes, feeling him lay more pressure on his leg that was on top of my chest.

''How long have you been here.'' We both knew the answer to that, but I didn't want to make him feel bad about myself.

''I only got here seconds before you threw me to the ground, Sir.'' I could see that he didn't believe me.

Suddenly I was pulled up from the ground, and pushed against a tree, Sir Irwin's face, inches from mine, making our noses touch, and almost our lips too.

''Did your mother never tell you, that it wasn't nice to lie boy.'' I saw the anger build in his face, and the sadness taking over my body.

''I never knew my mother, Sir.'' I saw the surprise on his face, and his grip on my shirt loosened a bit, only to get stronger again.

I looked straight into his eyes, suddenly shutting off all my emotions.

I stood there, just looking at him.

Suddenly he leaned in, and just before his lips met mine, I turned my face away, so his lips met my cheek.

''I-I'm Sorry Sir, But... I... I'm getting married in 5 months.'' My voice came out as a whispered, and I saw the look of disappointment on his face, though he quickly covered it.

I carefully pushed him off me, before starting to walk back to camp.

I knew he was walking only 10 feet behind me, but it still felt like he was too close, so I picked up my pace, but didn't look back at him once.

I felt like he had officially ripped away the last bit of secureness I had left.
