December kalender

12. 16. December "Ansatsu Kyoushitsu"

When a mysterious creature chops the moon down to a permanent crescent, the students of class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Middle School find themselves confronted with an enormous task: assassinate the creature responsible for the disaster before Earth suffers a similar fate. However, the monster, dubbed Koro-sensei (the indestructible teacher), is able to fly at speeds of up to Mach 20, which he demonstrates freely, leaving any attempt to subdue him in his extraterrestrial dust. Furthermore, the misfits of 3-E soon find that the strange, tentacled beast is more than just indomitable—he is the best teacher they have ever had!
Adapted from the humorous hit manga by Yuusei Matsui, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu tells the story of these junior high pupils as they polish their assassination skills and grow in order to stand strong against the oppressive school system, their own life problems, and one day, Koro-sensei.

This anime was great. But I read it before I watched it. The anime follows the manga perfectly. So if you rather wanna read it or if you rather wanna watch it, you can do both.

There is a lot of different characters in this anime, but that isn't the problem. You shouldn't watch it in the hopes for it to be all serious. Cause it isn't. Sure it has some small serious matters in it. But that isn't all. The whole story starts with an "alien" who has blown up more than half of the moon and is now standing on earth. Everyone has tried to kill him, military etc. But nothing worked. He said that he will only let class E be the ones to kill him. So if they wanted a chance for humanity to survive, then he wanted to become their teacher.

The government agrees, but only if it is kept a secret from everyone else in the world. So now you get to see the whole class E trying to kill their teacher, while he, of course, does his best to educate them.

Sure the plot is a bit dark. Like they have to kill him in 1 year if I remember correctly, otherwise, he will explode the whole planet and everyone on it. As the kids are trained to kill, they work hard and study hard.

Class E is actually known as the troublesome kids, the kids that can't get good grades, ruins something, skip classes etc. So instead of being on the school ground, they're up on the hill, which is also school grounds. There is an old house, that is used as a classroom, for the people who are flunking. The principal uses Class E as a threat to the other kids, he does everything he can, in the hopes that the students will use more time for homework and school.

Which they do, but this also makes class E into the stupid people. Everyone is bullying them, even the other teachers. No matter what's happening. If it is the school festival, then they won't print out the schedule for the E students, telling them to memories everything instead.

But of course, Class E's teacher is there to save the day. He has the ability to travel the world in only a few minutes, yes... He is that fast!! So it is a huge problem for them to kill him. Even though they do their best on both, he helps them with both killing and studying. He can't be harmed by normal bullets, only rubber can kill him or plastic. Something like that.

He also helps the people around him at home. Some of the children have problems at home, and he does everything in his power to help them out. But if they use their killing ability outside the classroom, he punishes the children. He won't teach them anything, and he won't help them out for at least two weeks.

But don't get me wrong, it might be all fun and games most of the time. But there are a few dark sides in this anime. Koro-sensei's story is one of them, how he ended up all yellow and weird. He was tortured and even fell in love with a girl, who had to keep watch on him. She was only doing this because she was married to the man who did torture him. But she was also the teacher of class E. She talked a lot about the class, and how she wished to make them smile.

She wanted what was best for the children and worked hard for them, she tried her best. But as she gets to talk more and more with Koro-sensei, she also falls for him. Right until the lab collapses and he gets out, but as people try to kill him, she steps in ending her life and asking him to at least help the children in class E. So he does, this is the reason he chooses to go to class E, even though he will end up killing everyone on the planet.

I think his story is the most heartbreaking, sure the other kids have some stories too. But Koro's were worse. Plus he always acts so happily, so when I found out about the darkness in his heart, I shed a little tear. It was sad! And I'm a cry baby.

I enjoyed the anime, since it always had something in it that would catch your attention. It was cute, sweet, funny and very serious at some points. So it had a lot of things that I enjoyed.
