**Haiti's apartment (above)

After a full day of hanging out with Calum and the rest of the boys with Madison, I take her home and then drive to Haiti's place. I catch myself bouncing a little in my seat and then I stop. Men don't bounce in their seats, I think. I put a hand towards my mouth and check my breath. Not too bad, but just to be safe, I put a breath mint in my mouth. I hear my phone ringing. I grab it and answer the call.

"Luke?" It's Arzaylea.

"Oh, hey, Arzaylea."

"You're not home." She states. I roll my eyes.

"Yeah, I know."

"Well, where are you?" I scrunch my eyebrows.

"Why?" I hear her sigh.

"Because I... I miss you..."

"Well, you're the one who hasn't been home for about a week," I say.

"Yeah, I know. I've been at my parents' house." I roll my eyes. That's her excuse all the time.

"Oh." It gets quiet for a while.

"Well, when will you be home?" She asks.

"I don't know." More silence.

"Okay. Bye?" She said, more like a question.

"Bye." And I hang up.

I pull up at Haiti's apartment and park my car. Then I take the elevator to her floor. When I reach her door, I lift my hand to knock but sniff my armpits. Doesn't stink. Good. Then I knock. A couple seconds later, the door opens, revealing Haiti who looks kind of tired. I smile.

"Hey." She gives me a half grin.

"Hi." I reach out and give her an unexpected hug. She chuckles and hugs me back.

"I miss you today," I say. She smiles.

"You've been in and out lately, I feel like I've barely seen you." She closes the door.

"Yeah, I know. I've been at the hospital, checking on Andres. I've also been with my mom, trying to keep her company since it feels like I barely see her. And I also have been at my friend's house. We found out she's pregnant." I give her a shocked look. She nods.

"Yeah. She was scared to tell her boyfriend, but he took it okay. They're going to keep it." I nod.

"Well, that's good for them." We walk to her living room and her brother is sprawled out. He looks up from his phone and nods at me.

"Hey, Luke." I nod back.

"Hey." Haiti turns to me.

"Want anything to drink?" I shake my head. She turns to her brother.

"Want something to drink?" He was too busy with whatever is on his phone. She rolls her eyes.

"You can go sit in the living room. I'm gonna get a cup of water." I nod and make my way to her couch. I sit on the other side of the couch and a moment later, Haiti joins me. I didn't want to do anything with her brother sitting a few feet away from us, so I slowly put my arm around Haiti's shoulder. She looks up at me and grins and scoots closer to me. I grin to myself. Nice job, Smooth boy, I think.

After watching Wild N' Out for about thirty minutes, Haiti looks at her brother. He must've fallen asleep at some point. She turns the tv off and rubs her face. I frown.

"Hey, you okay?" She sighs.

"I guess. I've just been a little stressed. With my mom and trying to keep her calm because she's worried about my brother, running back and forth between the hospital and Vanna's place. Then my job. My boss has been pretty tough on me ever since that fight." I instantly feel guilty.

"I'm really sorry about that night. I didn't know she was going to try to pick a fight with you." She shrugs her shoulder.

"It's over and done with, Luke. There's nothing I can do about it besides move on from it and make sure a situation like that never happens again." I nod.

"Still. I feel like I could've prevented it from happening." She sighs again and rests her head on my shoulder.

"Anyways. What's going with you and the rest of the boys? Anything new?" I shake my head.

"Not really besides the new album we're working on." She nods. I'm about to reach out and grab her hand, but she ends up getting up. She grabs a blanket that was laying on the couch. She opens it and places it over her brother. Then she walks into the kitchen. I get up and follow after her. She's at the sink washing some dishes that were in there. I hesitate to place my hands on her hips. After thinking about it, I decide to do it anyway. She stops washing and leans against me.

"The boys and I, my sister, Michael's girlfriend and maybe my sister are planning on taking a trip to Hawaii. You should come with us." I move her hair away from her neck and start placing small kisses on it. She cocks her head to the side to give me more access.

"When are you guys going?" She asks quietly. I stop kissing her neck.

"In a couple of weeks," I whisper in her ear. She leans her head back and I start kissing her neck again. She turns around and grins.

"I'm not going if your girlfriend is going." I grin back.

"She's not going. She said she's going to be somewhere else with her friends." I wrap a finger in her belt loop and pull her closer to me.

"I'll think about it," She says. I lean in closer to her face.

"You better." And then I kiss her. She places her hands on my neck and run her hands up through my hair and pulls gently, causing me to moan.

"Shhh," She says and points a finger to her brother. I glance at him and he shifts on his side. I look at Haiti and she giggles. She grabs my hand and drags me to her stairs. We walk up to her room. She pushes onto her bed and climbs on top of me.

"You know, we shouldn't be doing this," She says, kissing my neck. Oh, God.

"Yeah, well, I don't care right now." She grins and connects her lips to mine again. She grabs the bottom of my shirt and pulls it over my head.

"Woah, Haiti. I didn't think you had it in you." She rolls her eyes at me.

"I should be the one who's surprised." I grab her arms and flip her over onto her back, with me straddling her hips.

"Or not." I grin and lift her tank top up. She grabs the bottom of it and takes it off, tossing it across the room. I start kissing her stomach, going up to her neck. I hear her moan softly. As I'm about to make out with her, I hear my phone ringing. I groan and sit up, getting off of her. I grab my phone from my pocket and see who the ID is. It's Arzaylea. Fuck. I answer the call.

"Hello," I answer, sounding more annoyed.

"I'm getting worried, Luke. You've been gone for almost an hour."

"So? You're usually never at my house. Why is it all of a sudden an issue if I'm gone for an hour when you usually are gone for a day or two?" It's quiet.

"Are you at Calum's still?"

"Why are you calling me, Arzaylea?"

"Can I not call my boyfriend? Can you please just come home? I need to talk to you." I pinch the bridge of my nose. I glance at Haiti and she already has her tank top back on.

"Sure." I hang up and get off her bed.

"I, uh-" She puts her hand up.

"It's fine. You need to go home." I grab my shirt that was on the floor and put it on.

"I'm really sorry." She shrugs.

"It's fine, Luke. Really. Go home. Besides, it's getting late." I nod. I walk over to her and put a finger underneath her chin, lifting it up and forcing her to look at me.

"I'll swing by tomorrow morning for your answer to my proposal about that trip." She gives me a small smile.

"Okay." I smile back and lightly kiss her. Then I walk down her stairs and out of her apartment, making my way to the elevator.

I drive back to my house and park it in my garage. I walk in and see Arzaylea sitting on the couch. I walk in the living room and sit across from her. She sniffs and pats the spot next to her.

"Come sit by me." When I don't move, she rolls her eyes and moves over by me. What is she doing? I think. She grabs my hands and looks at me.

"Luke, there's something I need to tell you." I wait for her to continue. She looks down at her lap and then back at me.

"I'm pregnant."
