Love Always

Let's evaluate on that we. We, the people telling you this story, are the ones that are thrown out. The ones that are rejected, and in some eyes, useless. We are that of what others call "trash" and "crap". That's why we tell you this story. To explain ourselves, no, to redeem ourselves. We do not care what the world says, we are the outsiders. The outcasts. You might say we are depressed, which is quite right. We are. All of us. That's what brought us together. We all hope that one day, we will be accepted.

1. Enforced Rain

The night was a cold one, almost as if the earth wanted to freeze. The rain made the police station even more dreadful. But the rain was there for a reason, not to heighten the mood, but to devour it. The sky was closed up like a scroll, completely black.

Another reason for cold to be present.

The trees outside could be heard telling stories, whistling their toons, but they could not be seen. The town of Shelbyville stood still, it was deathly silent in the haze of midnight. The stars hung as God's chandelier over us. Everything was on borderline with their emotions, it was as if the Tennessean town itself was depressed. But they needed that rain.

The girl's vision of the outside was distorted, blurry from the heavy rain, but inside, she didn't see anything either, as she had her face pressed against her legs. She was overtaken with anxiety, and just stayed silent. Not crying. silent. She had been sitting there for quite some time now, and often heard voices chattering in other rooms. The words were undecipherable, but she new they were talking about her. They.

"What's wrong with her? She hasn't said anything at all," said an unnamed character, one of the two men talking.

"I don't know, but I did find some records on her," responded the other. Then there was an awkward moment of undefined silence.

   "Well?" Inquired the first man.

"Her name is Emily Lensin. Her age is thirteen, born April 26. It says here she is also autistic."

"Is that why shes not talking?" silence cut in for a while. Then the first man grabbed a bottle of a desk and waked into the room where Emily was sitting in. The man then approached the girl, who was still curled up in a wooden chair. Emily did not do as much as acknowledge his appearance, not even a flinch. The man the knelt down beside her.

"This is some green tea I haven't drank from yet. It's good." Then he set down the bottle next to her on the floor, so he wouldn't disrupt the girl. The next thing he did was walk out of the room in a morose kind of way, leaving his dissonant trail to be left with the dissonant girl. He shut the door behind him.

Alone. Emily was finally alone. Normal people despise the thought of being alone. Emily is not just another normal person. The loved being alone, as do the people that are like us. Like her. It gives you time to think. Time to plan. She was planning alright. As to what, we don't know.

Let's evaluate on that we. We, the people telling you this story, are the ones that are thrown out. The ones that are rejected, and in some eyes, useless.    Now back to Emily. She was, in fact, still crouched up in the chair. She considered the thought of the green tea, but had no craving right now. Being reluctant to the sentimental value, she put aside the man's offer. She had to get out of here. She considered the thought of walking out the front door, but that enigma stopped her. Instead, she walked over to the big glass window at the other end of the room and opened it. The pinging of the rain instantly escalated to a vigorous slam. She jumped out of the first story window.
