Ali West, the Shark Bay Beauty Queen, strode forward to accept her prize. She was sixteen. Mark Deter, the owner of the beauty pageant, who was forty-six, walked around the huge set. "Now, everyone will have to celebrate soon. Because of your youth, you can't have alcohol, or go to the Romantic Suite with your family. You can go to The Shark Bay Restaurant with your parents". Ali shook her head. She wore the silver dress, and black high-heeled shoes on her feet. On her head, she wore a silvery coloured tiara. Ali, who had long, blonde hair, bright, blue eyes, and tall, smiled as she sat on the massive stage that was full of other teenage girls who were also wearing dresses, and make-up on their faces. Shannon Peltier, who was seventeen, and the favourite for the title, stared glumly at her parents; Ali smiled for the High-Definition cameras, and knew that she had won by three votes. "And the Runner-Up is Shannon Peltier. Shannon...would you accept the silver ware?", Mark asked her. Shannon shook her head. "No, I don't accept the prize", she answered him. And Ali gasped. She knew that Shannon was mad; she was known to be dominant. Ali smiled for the last time, and then she sat on her throne, and grinned in triumph.

Peter Daniels arrived at the old marina.

"The bridge is gone because of the Great White Shark incident", he told Maddie. She looked at the emptiness near the vast ocean; she saw Tom Marshall, the Assistant Lighthouse Keeper. "Hell of a time to come, Peter", he said. Peter didn't smile. He looked at the shattered bridge. "How much money will it cost to fix up the bridge?", Maddie asked him. "Ten thousand dollars", Tom answered her. "No, double or triple the money. At least one hundred thousand dollars", Peter said. Maddie listened to the conversation. Suddenly they saw the body of Allen Schaffer, Jr. Blood spilled down what was left of his left foot; the tendons were ripped due to the large shark's teeth bits. "Jesus! It's almost off", Maddie said. She watched Tom. "Yes; yes, a massive Great White Shark did this. One that's bigger than the one that came before", Tom said. And she sighed, then she watched the ocean, and shivered with terror.

The 70 meter long Great White Shark glided along the deep ocean. It had waited a long time; it waited until the large boats and ships were near the marina. With the bridge smashed to pieces, it watched the humans swimming in the Shark Bay ocean, two miles away from Ellis Island. Its black eyes focused on the shore. Its huge grey fin swished into the cold water. By Midday, the afternoon sun hit the boats. It was also hungry. It felt its stomach grumble; it knew that it had to feed soon. It moved at one hundred and twenty miles per hour towards the ships...and sensed its meal was coming sooner rather than later.

R. Lindell Frost, IV, the twenty-five year old Internet tycoon, was staring at the marina's bridge. "I'll help re-build the bridge for $1, 250,000. It'll be a financial money earner for Shark Bay. It'll be used to fund a new casino, and restaurants. And a hotel for the summer and winter travellers". G. Rich Anderson, the fifty-five year old Anti-Whaling Association President, grinned. "Fine, it'll be great to see a resurgence for the town". R. Lindell Frost IV, smiled. They shook hands, and they signed the contract with a gold pen.

Davis Roche swam near the ferry. He was thirty miles from Shark Bay. The weather was thirty degrees, and getting colder. He saw several dolphins rising up from the depths of the ocean; he saw their grey flippers make a circle in the afternoon sky. Davis was nineteen. He was lost in his own thoughts when several small sharks were drawn to him. He didn't splash; he didn't kick his strong feet; he didn't create a scene, as he waited for help to arrive. He waved his hands in the air. Then, by 4:11 PM, the Callow III ship rescued him. He walked up the silvery ladder, and was on board the bow. "Welcome, Davis", Captain Edward Lake, forty-three, said. He had short, grey-red hair, brown eyes, and tall. He glanced at the bow of the ship. Several crew men, (and crew women), were working on the ship. They smiled at him. Davis looked at the cabins. "The ocean's a mess, Captain. There's too many sharks in the water", he said. Captain Lake shook his head. "They're fixing up the bridge. In the interim, we're going to use shark wire keep them out of Shark Bay". And, as he watched the ocean, he stared at the other ships in the area, and preyed to God that death wouldn't arrive to harm them.

Shannon Peltier walked along Main Road. She had enough of Shark Bay. All that was left was death. The sharks were rogues. Suddenly, as she was crying, she saw Al Weiss, a Jewish adventurer, whose travels to Isreal was well known over the past five years. She stopped walking, as she smiled. "Are you going on board a ship?", Shannon asked him. "Yes, the Freeman Hoarder II", Al answered. Shannon headed up the bridge to the ship. Al smiled, then they headed on board, and waited for the ship to go out to sea towards Ellis Island...and New York.

Ali West texted her parents. "Mom, please pick me up at six o'clock PM. Luv, Ali". And, as she waited, she saw everyone leaving the stage.
