The fall wasn't meant to happen. That part, at least, wasn't planned.
But now, Luke's stuck in a limbo between dream and nightmare and the bottle in his pocket seems to be able to say a lot more about the incident than he can.
However, when reality does begin to sink in in Luke's mind, it's all anyone can do to stop him from letting go of everything - Forever...That is, if people can begin to care...


15. Harsh reality.

Charlotte smiles when she's sees the boy by her son's bed, although secretly, she can't help but despise him. Yet she knows, to hold him ransom to everything that's happened would be cruel. The bullying was not entirely his fault. And surely there could be nothing else the boy is responsible for, could there? However, although she'd never met the boy, there was something oddly familiar about him that Charlotte couldn't place. And that's when the machines supporting Luke started bleeping. 

Frozen in horror, Charlotte simply stared Luke's mixed hazel and grey eyes, not even registering that they were open until Leo started leaping about the room in ecstasy because everything was to be alright...
