Bios - Catastrophe Warfare

After the evaluation has been finished, I headed straight to the shared male shower. In the midst of hundreds of shower heads in the shower room, I turned on the one that was on the farthest corner and turned it to be as cold as it could be. Though I usually hated taking a shower at a shivering temperature, the feeling of boiling blood on my body suggested me to neutralized that guilt with this as a compensation.

Once I had finished draining out all of the blood, I then turned off the shower and then headed outside to the locker room. Searching for my locker by the second to last end of the room, I have come across official Bios members. Though I have tried to avoid them if possible, these officials usually find entertainment by confronting me.

"How was your 'training', Chris?" Arnold Ronald, a low class Bios, tried to meddle with me.

"If it would have been me in that room, I would have ripped out that bird's flesh into half!" Jonas Thomas, who was also a low class Bios, joined in.

"But guess what? Regardless of how much you have trained, you are a mere human."

In this institution that was supposed to be established to train Bios for upcoming battle had all but one students who were genetically modified. I, Chris Everfields, had been the only one who had the characteristics close to that of an ordinary humans. Considering that majority of the Bios possess superior physical abilities that are capable of literately tearing them apart.

Though I say that I am close to ordinary humans then that of the Bios, I am, in fact, half Bios. However, I have only received supernatural senses rather than that of the physical abilities, and in a battle where a single mistake can prove to be fatal, having an ordinary physical endurance was dangerous.

"You probably made into this place because of your parents, didn't you?" Arnold pointed it out.

To begin with, I was born onto this world as a mere experiment. Out of four of the siblings in the Everfields family, only I had been made into incomplete Bios simply because of curiosity that had arose from my parents. Because of my inferiority, I am treated as the least important person in the family. Imagine what would happen to me if I were to go against my older sisters? Broken bones wouldn't be an issue. Even a single handshake could shatter my hands.

Anyhow, talking back to them wouldn't bring me any benefit to me. What more is there to talk with them other than to straighten my already fragile pride? I did have a talent that have far surpassed their own league, but it wasn't something that could be used with my current state. If I were to give an comparison, then I would describe it as a talent to use gun better than anyone in the world. However, it should be mentioned that I do not have that gun in my inventory.

In short, the only thing that I should have pride of is useless.

Now that there was nothing to argue with them, I headed straight back to my dorm.
