Dear Ashton

Dear Ashton,

If you have found this in your locker then I want you to know that this isn´t some sort of prank. This is just some girl in your school looking for someone to listen to her.

Dear Ashton,

You have heard of bring me the horizon, right?

Well if you haven't you should go listen to them and if you have then you will understand what I mean when I say their songs are deep and very relatable.

I don't know what it is but the lyrics and the beat just make my life seem that little bit better.

It´s amazing really how a few vibrations combined with different pitches can make me feel so many emotions and look at the world in a different way.

Bring me the horizon songs speak all the words I am afraid to say out loud. Especially the lyrics in 'can you feel my heart'.

Like the line ' I can't drown my demons, they know how to swim.'

That one line makes me realize not only no matter what I do the voices in my head and the demons running around my mind are here to stay but the fact that even if we try to make our lives better we still die in the end.

Our demons will get stronger and before we know it, it will be our demons that are drowning us not us trying to drown them and we won't realize until we take our last breathe in and start to feel the reality start to flood us.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that without these little vibrations and pitches I would be total different person with totally different thoughts.

I would probably still be trying to fight life and try to reach the surface so I can escape my deep, dark ocean of demons.

Instead I am letting life do what It likes and letting it slowly break me into nothing but a soul flying back home with the angels in the clouds.

P.s I saw you reading my letter in class. Thank you for listening to me and not throwing these away.

Much love,
Rosie x
