"Mia." He whispered.
"Hmm?" I moaned. The soft light of the morning making me squint.
"Last night was indescribable." He said.
"Mm-hmm." I nodded. I pressed my face farther into the bed, trying to go back to my wonderful dream full of fun and unexpected things. I met my dream guy (aha literally) in this dream.
"Mia. Wake up." He pressed my cheek. I opened my eyes all the way and stared at the boy i was laying beside.
It wasn't a dream...

10. Not exactly an apology...

“Feeling better?”Kylie asked.

“More like feeling worse.” I frowned.

“I'm sorry. I wouldn't have let you eat it if I’d have known you were going to get sick.” Kylie handed me a bowl of soup. I wanted to throw it up already.

“Ugh. “ I groaned. Three days ago I went out with Kylie to this fancy restaurant and lo and behold, their food was not up to regulation… now i have food poisoning…

“I feel so bad.” She frowned back.

“Me too.” I sighed.

“I know that the food poisoning is making you sick, but I also know it’s because of what’s going on.” She took a seat on the edge of my bed and folded her arms across her chest.

“What are you talking about?” I peered out from under my soft coverlet.

“Harry’s called me a million times asking about you. I know I only gave him my number in case of emergencies, like if you were having an allergy attack or something, so this is totally taking it too far, but like, I know he’s upset. It’s been almost two weeks since you guys said anything to each other.”

“Fight me. I’m not talking to him. He said really mean stuff.”

“He told me what he said, and it’s completely justified. It’s not fair for you to continuously push him away. He really does like you.”

“It’s getting to serious, Ky. What if I get emotionally hurt?” I asked.

“You have to take a chance on things, Mia. If I stopped after every guy because I was afraid he was going to hurt me, I wouldnt have any past relationship history.” She shrugged.

“THAt’s the problem. I don’t have any past history with this kind of stuff.”

“Exactly. You need to learn from your mistakes. Take notes on what you like and what you don’t like. That’s life.” She spoke proudy.

“What am I supposed to do, Kylie? I’m sick. I can’t move.”

“You have 4 days before christmas vacation. Figure it out.” Kylie stood up and walked to the door. “I’ve got class in ten minutes. I’ll see later.”

“Hello?” Harry’s familiar voice sent butterflies in my empty stomach. I wanted to puke again.

“Hey… It’s me.”

“Here to tell em off again? Or are you officially ending us?” He asked bitterly.

“You’re making this difficult.” I snapped.

“How so? Look, Mia, I really like you, but I’m done pretending. I can’t go around loving you when you deny everything I give you. You’ll tear me apart. That’s exactly why I came here in the first place. To find myself again because I got out of a really bad relationship. I’m not putting myself through it again just because you want to-”

“I want to go with you.” I blurted.

“What? What are you talking about, Mia?”

“Just because I am extremely sick and running on no energy doesn’t mean I’ve gone completely looney. You know bloody well what I’m talking about.” I rolled my eyes impatiently.

“You mean on vacation with me?”

“Really? That’s great! What do you mean you’re extremely sick?” His voice turned to immediate concern.

“I got food poisoning. Went to this illegitimate restaurant.” I waved it off.

“Are you okay?”

“No. I have food poisoning.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Is it true?” I asked quickly before I could back out.

“Is what true?”

“You said in your long ass soliloquy that you loved me. Is it true?”

“Figure it out.” He said mischievously before hanging up.

“You sure you’re feeling better?” Harry asked, concerned.

“I’m fine. I can take care of myself.” I rolled my eyes.

“Taking care of yourself isn’t the problem. The problem is that you don’t take your own health into consideration.” He points at me.

“I promise I am goog as good can be.” I  smiled up at him.

“I seriously don’t believe you.” He put his hands on my face. “Look, you’re flushed.”

“I’m fine.” I narrowed my gaze and removed his hands.

“I am watching you. The minute I see something shady i’m turning this plane around.”

“Oh my God. You’re so annoying.” I rolled my eyes and boarded the plane before he did.

“I’m annoying? You’re the one who keeps complaining and then saying you’re fine, but then continue complaining.” Harry followed me.

I stuck my carry-on above my seat and sat down. I was closest to the window and beside me was Harry.

“Where are we going in the first place?” I asked.

“It’s a surprise.” He smiled.

“That’s not fair. I want to know.” I pouted, playfully.

“You don’t get to know.” He booped my nose.

“Again, not fair.”

"Life's not fair." He smiles and opens my window cover for me to look out.

"you know, you never actually apologized to me for what you said." I look over at him about two hours of being in the air.

"I thought my monologue counted as one." He replies, his voice serious and face straight. not a hint of a smile even on his face.

"No. You insulted me again. You said you loved me and couldn't do this if I wasn't going to take it seriously."

He sighs and glares at me.

"what?" I frowned.

"You. Sometimes you make me really angry." He snaps.

"And you make me mad."

Harry rolls his eyes. "Fine. I'm sorry."

"Thankyou. I think."
