The Vanisher

Back a few years ago, one of the world's most mysterious crimes ever committed left everyone stooped.
To this day, the goal and the criminal are still a mystery.
But, what people don't know what that the crime wasn't meant to be a crime in the first place.
The Vanisher, after many years, has returned with a mission, one that could change the world forever.

8. Job

"Okay, I'm in position." I say into my comm link.

"Good, proceed with caution." Agent Smith says.

I'd been in school for about 2 weeks now, and he's been spying on Campbell for about a week now.

Man, this guy has NO life.

He just goes to work, goes home, goes to bed.

Oh my gosh this guy is so boring.

At least, that's all Smith has told me.

I've never actually seen this guy before.

You'd think I'd see this guy in school, but no.

For all I know, this guy looks like Pennywise the clown.

But, today I get to do the sleuthing.

I walk into his empty classroom and walk over to his desk.

I rifle through his papers and drawers.

"I don't see anything, Smith." I say.

Just then, the classroom door opens and in walks two men.

"Thanks, Steven, that copier has been giving me problems since day one."

"No problem, Scott." The two men turn and see me.  Luckily, I had time to move away from the desk.

"Uh, who are you?" He asks me.

"I, uh, I'm Rosie" I lie. " I heard, um you could help me with um, my, uh..." I look around the room.

What does this guy even teach?

Posters on computers.

"Laptop.  Yeah, my laptop has been acting really strangely." I pull it out of my backpack.

Man, I'm so lucky I brought that today.

"Oh, what seems to be the problem?"

"It, uh, it, freezes a lot, yeah."

I REALLY need to work on lying.

"Okay, I'll take a look at it." He says.

"Thanks." I say, walking to the door.  He looks me in the eyes.

"No, thank you, Rosie."  He closes the door and my eyes go wide.
