Stay - HS

Alexia Roberts was just a normal British girl. 22 years old, working at a Starbucks in London. She had a perfectly boring future planned out before Harry Styles showed up and made it flawed, but also fun. When the end finally comes, it all depends on Alexia. Will she choose to stay or go?

15. Chapter 15

Alexia's POV

Harry pulled me along as we ran down the stairs. We didn't change or even get a jacket, so Harry was only wearing his boxers. I was in a shirt and shorts. At least I was dressed like I would in everyday life. We burst outside. The street was filled with people and cars. The building was not on fire whatsoever. We waited for flames to appear, but none did. I'm pretty sure everyone laughed at Harry. Mitch opened the hotel door.

"Looking fabulous, Harry!" He laughed.

"What? Someone said the building was on fire." Harry looked confused.

"Mitch pranked us." I told him.

He blinked. "MITCH! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" He yelled as he charged at Mitch.

I skipped after them. Honestly, that was a good prank. Not for Harry though.

Harry stopped to wait for me.

"You must be humiliated." I grinned at him.

"So much support from the babe." He rolled his eyes.

"Sorry. CHARGE!" I ran towards Mitch who had stopped to watch our conversation. I tackled him down for Harry.

"Alexia! Please let me go!" Mitch jokingly begged.

"Underwear boy will be the judge of that." I didn't take my eyes off him, just in case he decides to try and escape. I'm pretty sure if he tried, he could easily throw me off. Thankfully he played along.

Harry touched my shoulder. "You can let him go now. I'll deal with him tomorrow."

I got up.

"Thank you, my lord." Mitch bowed, then ran off. All of this happened in the lobby, so the receptionist and people in the lobby were staring at us. Humour or disgust shone in their eyes.

"Sorry!" I waved, showing off a cheeky grin much like Harry's.

Harry and I sprinted off upstairs, back to our hotel room. We entered the room, looked at each other, and burst into an uncontrollable fit of laughter that took us minutes to recover from.

"Go get dressed." I pushed him towards his clothes on the chair.

Harry ended up carrying me out to the car, where everyone was waiting.

"Sorry," I apologized for the third time today.

6 days later

"No more shows for more than a week." Harry was sprawled out on the bed in a new hotel room in Paris.

"Is that good or bad?"

"Well, I'll miss hearing the fans singing along to songs, but I get to spend more time with you. So, this is good. Definitely good. Oh! I totally forgot. Liam's coming here for a day. He's staying in this hotel room. Is that okay?"

"Sure," I shrugged. "Liam from One Direction, right?"

"When are they coming?"

Harry checked his phone. "Hmm, about now!"

As if on cue, someone knocked on the door. Harry got up and opened it.

"Hey mate!" Harry greeted. They hugged.

"How's everything going?" Liam spotted me. "Is this the 'beautiful lady' you've been texting me about?"

"Hello," I said shyly.

Liam hugged me too. "Are you doing okay, love? You seem sane, which is surprising. I would have thought you'd gone crazy with this..." He gestured at Harry.

"Hey!" Harry whacked him in the arm.

"Yeah, I'm a bit astonished that I haven't gone mental either-"

"Alexia! You're supposed to be on my side."

"My deepest apologies, my king." I curtsied and walked to his side.

Harry slung his arm over my shoulder. "Want to go out? Haven't been here in forever."

"Sure," Liam and I said simultaneously.

I had never been to Paris before, but I knew a lot of French from French classes and school (yes, my mum made me take French classes outside of school).

Harry looked around. "It's lunch. Where do you think we should eat?"

I saw a pedestrian that looked like a local here.

"Bonjour!" Hello! I waved to her as I led the two boys to her.

"Bonjour!" Hello!

"Comment as-tu aujourd'hui?" How are you today?

"Ça va bien! Et toi?" I'm good! And you?

"Ça va bien aussi. Quel café recommandez-vous?" I'm good too. What café do you recommend? [A/N: I used Google Translate for this because I can't be bothered to recall what I learned in school right now, so sorry if it's not correct... not that it'll be any better even if I did use all my knowledge of French.]

The lady pointed to the one across the street. The walls on the outside were painted white. There were tables outside in front of the store with pink umbrellas over some of them. It looked like it was packed. "Bon service et bonne nourriture." Good service and good food.

She noticed the two boys behind me and pointed to Liam. "Est-ce ton petit ami?" Is this your boyfriend?

"Huh? Non, non! Il est mon ami. C'est mon petit ami." Huh? No, no! He's my friend. This is my boyfriend. I poked Harry in the chest. Harry and Liam politely waved.

"Je suis désolé. Il est mignon, n'est ce pas?" He's a cute one, isn't he?

I blushed for some reason. "Absolument. Nous devrions y aller maintenant, au revoir!" [A/N: Again, I am so sorry if it is wrong.] Absolutely. We should go now, bye!

"Au revoir!"

"You know French??" Liam gaped at me when we were in the café.

"My girlfriend is amazing." Harry grinned.

"Cheryl is also amazing." Liam frowned.

"Boys," I muttered and rolled my eyes. "I'm gonna go buy stuff to eat. You guys can go get seats or do whatever."

"I can't let you pay! I'm coming with you," Liam said.

"No, no, no. I'm paying." Harry followed us.

We all ordered a sandwich and croissant. While Harry and I were arguing over which colour would go best with pink, Liam payed.

"I feel so bad," Harry groaned. "You're the guest!"

I tried giving Liam cash, but he wouldn't accept it so while he and Harry were talking, I slipped some into the pocket of his jeans.

We got our food. At first there was no place to sit, but with a flash of Harry's smile, an old couple quickly gathered up their food and left.

"Thank you!" I called after them. They didn't hear me. That, or they chose to ignore me.

The croissants actually tasted so good, I'm not kidding. I haven't had croissants in FOREVER. Come to think of it, I haven't had a lot of stuff in a long time. I usually just grab a granola bar. I'm surprised I'm not tired of them yet.

After lunch, we explored the city. Harry and I chatted, flirted, made fun of each other, etc. All without Liam. I guess we were in the city of love, so lovers would obviously want to be with each other to see Paris, but I felt bad for Liam. I bet he wished he had - what was her name? Sharol, Carol? Cheryl! Yeah, Cheryl. Anyways, I bet he wished he had Cheryl with him. I know if I were here alone, I'd wish Harry could magically teleport to me.

"So! Liam, you mentioned having a baby. Bear, right?" I asked, trying to include Liam in the conversation.

His eyes lit up when I said 'Bear'. "Yeah, he's just the cutest, he can-"

"Moving on!" I sensed he was going into a long description of his baby, and though I love babies, I'm not really in the mood to listen to that right now. I just really wanted to be alone with Harry. Does that make me a shit person?

We went to the Arc de Triomphe which took about 45 minutes, then we went to The Louvre which took up most of our day. Finally, when the sun set, we were standing on the highest floor of the Eiffel Tower.

"Wow. This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." I took a deep breath.

Harry slung his arm over my shoulder. "Then you obviously haven't looked in the mirror."

"Aw, thank you." I shuffled closer to him and positioned my head on his shoulder. "You're very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very handsome." I poked his nose on each 'very'.

"Thank you." Harry's head rested on mine.

I wanted to draw this moment. To put it on the wall and remember it forever. Thinking of remembering... shit, we forgot Liam. Being the evil, black-hearted person I was, I stayed next to Harry. I couldn't bring myself to leave.

I'm not sure how much time passed while we stayed in that position. Time was irrelevant while I was with Harry anyways. I only realized when Liam tapped us on the shoulder.

"Um... guys? Sunset is over."

I whirled around. "Oh? Oh. Sorry."

"Well, we should go before it gets darker," Harry said.

"Can it even get darker?" Liam tilted his head.

"Shut up."

At the hotel

A/N: Full House sceneee. Full House is amazing.

Liam passed me a stack of cards. "Here, Alexia. I brought you some hockey cards as a gift."

"Um... thank you?" I flipped through them. I giggled, thinking about how these are actually way better looking then the stereotypical hockey player with the black eye and stuff. "They're all really cute, to be honest."

Harry appeared behind me. "Cute?"

Harry took them all and threw them in the trash. "Now I'm the only cute and hot one here."

Liam acted offended. "Excuse me? I'm hot too."

"You can think whatever you want, Liam."

Liam laughed. "I'm kidding, Alexia. Here's your real gift." He pulled out a little box.

I opened it and my jaw immediately dropped. There were diamond earrings in the shape of an infinity symbol. "Oh my gosh, these are so pretty!" I exclaimed as Harry helped me wear them.

"Glad you like them."

"Thank you so much!"

"No problem. I'm going to sleep. The day's got me exhausted." Liam yawned and climbed onto a bed.

Harry and I creepily watched him until he fell asleep.

I turned my gaze to Harry. "Why are we staring at him again?"

Harry ignored my question. "I have something for you too." He pulled out a box from one of his pockets and handed it to me. I slowly opened it. In it was an necklace with an infinity symbol to match the earrings. It was decorated with diamond studs on the outline.

"Wow. Thank you. This is beautiful. But why?"

Harry ignored my question and helped me put on the necklace.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" I squealed.

"You're welcome." Harry chuckled.

I hugged him but it quickly turned into a kiss.

"GO TO SLEEP!" Liam yelled.
