The Final Knight

The Knights, who were once considered as the symbol of strength, were the remnants of the Old Age. In the New Age, the Magicians, who had higher advantage against the monsters than the knights, were the dominant forces. Elnoah Aris, the last and the undefeated Knight, was confirmed to be dead, but his soul was still in this world. How will this affect the Knights?

11. The Simple Tap

Neil was standing in the middle of the arena when Tales shouted at Neil with trembling voice. While everyone else was muttering between themselves, Neil was still standing in the arena with the same broken bones, heavy bleeding, and open wounds, but something was telling Tales that he should be prepared.

Prepared for what? Tales couldn't understand why he had to crawl in fear because of him, but when Neil finally took one step toward Tale's direction, he knew better than anyone else. It was his instinct that has been warning him to flee away.

"Haaaa....Aaaaaa" Tales couldn't speak anymore words by the time that Neil's footstep changed into standing to walking, walking to jogging, and jogging to running. Tales attempted to move away from his current position, but something prevented him from doing so. It was the result of his overly confident pride, never ending streaks of winning, and the fact that he underestimated everyone of his peers.

"KYAAAAAAAA!!!" The people in the audience's seat screamed as Neil's fist has almost reached up to Tale's face.

Neil, whose attention was straightly forward on finishing off Tales, didn't notice anything that the judge or anyone had screamed about. However, by the time that he had regained his own senses, he had felt indescribable pain from his right arm. It has been cleanly severed off by an massive wind.

"You monster!" The judge, who couldn't afford to watch the situation any longer shot a condensed blade of wind.

Everyone's attention was toward healing Tales, who had only been fainted. However, Neil, who could die at any moment, wasn't given a glance of medical need. Not a single healer magicians took a gaze toward him, the only person that arrived was the headmaster of the town, who decided to imprison him inside of a cage originally meant to seal monsters. Inside of his "cell", he was equipped with the same metal glove that had given him the gravity attribute, but twice the effect.

Knight Lord couldn't express his anger by any words. Even he, who had been known for giving mercy to his opponents, would have slayed everyone of the audience if he had his physical body. He was truly disappointed by the way the world had been now.
