16. Chapter 15: Months Later.

3 months had past since departure from kingdom Valley. Leleanda couldn't help but feel blessed. But frightened to. She couldn't fight, not while pregnant. Dawn broke upon the ocean, and onto Leleanda, whose hair had grown, now it was down to her shoulders. Her hands were placed on the batten on the side of the ship. She had changed since she feel pregnant with Cornelius' child. Her long white nightgown danced in the morning wind. She felt a light peck on her shoulder, she turned her head to see Cornelius, she smiled lightly. He placed his hands on her stomach.
“Not long before it comes” he said, it made her scared. For the first time in her life, she was scared of something. Motherhood. She was too young in her opinion. But it was better now then later in her thoughts.
“Land AHOY!” the lovers attention was placed on the islands in front of them. “Lord Cornelius. Are you and Lady Leleanda ready to depart?” Cornelius looked at Leleanda, who was slowly rubbing her bump, but smiled at him and nodded.
“Yes, Yes we are, prepare the boat for us” the servant bowed his head and ran to the captain of the ship. Leleanda started walking towards the small boat that was hanging off the side of the ship. Cornelius was helping her board that small boat. Holding her hand and her waist, gently pushing her on to the boat with caution. Someone caught Cornelius by the arm quickly. It was that guy. That soldier with the brown hair, who ate that apple.
“Be careful my Lord!” his voice was a bit deeper, and he had a small beard. He looked over at Leleanda slightly and looked back at Cornelius. “You 'ad bet'a take good care of har mate!” he said to him. Cornelius was surprised. Leleanda stared at the man, he looked back at her and walked off.
As the pair were reaching the shore, the sun was hot.
Cornelius pulled the boat onto the sand and tying it to a rock, he held a hand for Leleanda, her body was frail and weak. She got herself up, holding her body up with her arm, and holding her stomach with the other.
“Leleanda?!” Cornelius grabbed her by the waist. Carrying her off the boat and onto the golden sand.
“The coast is beautiful. Isn't it?” Leleanda held her hair behind her ear. Cornelius smiled and pulled the cloth sack out of the boat and swung it around his shoulder.
“Come on, we need to walk to the nearest village.” he said to Leleanda as they started walking off the beach.
