At the start of the year the universe was calling me to write a new set of poems. I let the ideas that I had sit with me for a while and then I set about writing out what would be the storyline into what the poems would fit. It seemed the work would involve written set pieces and poetry. I was all set to go and then...... THE WORLD SEEMED TO GO CRAZY! It became clear to me that I was not being called to write out MY idea but that I needed to report on what was happening in the world and how it was making me feel.

the BLACK dog is a term used to describe depression and it a dark dog. As I started this work we are in a very dark, depressing time in the world and I had to reflect on that. So this is me, the Dark dog, barking back at the world! This is very much a live piece of work as we turn through this year. I also have my reflections in here, on my own thoughts, feelings and life. This is my heart open and my soul on show for anyone to see. It is me being brave, I hope you enjoy!

62. THE ANSWER TO THE NEEDS (A poem from 94)

Deep within the ocean the lord Larion is in prayer

He has his eyes closed as stars sparkle

Larion is talking to the one who blessed him

All around others look on with love for the Lord

"Blessed are we all." Larion spoke "Yet we have no food."

The light from the stars grew bright and Larion opened his eyes

"Find the answer to your needs." A voice spoke

Larion looked at the dirt on his hands, the answer was there

As the weeks turned into months the food had grown

The people gathered around the blessed one in thanks

The sick found health in food for the heart

Larion headed for his secret place

He felt alone with the blessing that felt like a curse to him

All the people came to him with every trouble

He didn't have the blessings to give them

Loved ones passed on and he saw their looks

The could never return, NEVER

Another year passed and Larion felt weak

People thought he was immortal

Shocked looks upon their faces as he fell ill

something told I'm to stay strong for his people

A woman was crying

Larion felt the love of the woman

"Blessed are we all"

"blessed are we all" Repeated the woman

Larion got well and the people had risen with him
