16. Epilogue

Epilogue.

Over a month later, during Kixi's and Mako Jhasmin's honeymoon, the 23rd of January 3018.

The sky was clear, clear – light blue painted through the horizon. Not a sign of one or two, big or small, white, fluffy clouds floating across the sky. And the wind – the wind was like nothing but calm air. People outside were walking around sleeveless. No sweater, long sleeves and jeans rolled up.

Out of all the places we could have gone to for our honeymoon, the thought of all the worlds within our reach and at our disposal within the Sol System alone – and we chose to stay on Earth. Boracay, located in the minor province of the Philippines, and a part of the larger Asia Majoris province.

Boracay, a tropical island surrounded by stunning white sand beaches and clear blue waters, located about 380 kilometres from Cebu off the larger Philippines island of Panay, where we also stayed a couple of nights before seeing out the rest of our private honeymoon in Boracay.

The bond I shared with her was like a bridge out of my fortressed mind, it allowed me to set foot outside it's protective compound and explore the sun warmed world on the other side. Here in Boracay, on our very special honeymoon, Jhasmin was with me, us together. With our marriage, the ground work for our long prosperous lives together laid – that bridge within my mind would never be severed. No matter who, or what, Jhasmin and I existed and breathed as one, like symbiont beings, where nothing else mattered more. Our union went beyond the boundaries of love itself.

In Earth's northern hemisphere, in most places, the month of January would be a period that would usually be full of chilly, cold days. Cool strong winds, that normally would harshly blow one's hair back. Those cold breezes, that would give someone those tingly feeling that generally ran up and down one's spine. Yet there was no sign of any of that in Boracay, despite it being January and technically the middle of winter.

Instead, the wind was calm… not breezy, not cold or pushy, but the wind was as light as a feather. Feather like wind hitting me. Hitting my hair; with a light small movement. Amazing, looking at what was surrounding me. It had been gloomy for weeks in Celestia City, despite it being summer there, but now where I was, it was full of sunshine. The sun hit greenish-yellow trees, blackish-purple trees and reddish-orange trees, making their leaves so vivid and soft. The calm air was swift around trees; then suddenly it hit a leaf; urging the leaf to fly its way down. The leaf flew side to side and in swirls, until it reached the ground. The calm wind began to dazzle around. Everywhere I was walking, people were enjoying the weather. Laughing, walking or playing outside. The weather was warm and bright.

Jhasmin and I made our lazy way back toward our hotel after watching the sunrise on the beach. Jhasmin wandered in and out of the surf, enjoying the feeling of the sand and sea on her bare feet. I watched her, occasionally picking up a shell and then tossing it back in the water. When we reached the familiar pier belonging to our hotel, we turned away from the shore, hand-in-hand. We could almost forget that we were being watched by a discreet security detail. With Jhasmin being the president elect of the entire USS, and I her First Lady, despite things still being quiet for my wife, once the full swing of her presidential term began, things wouldn't be such, meaning we would be under someone's watchful eyes for a very long time.

“I don't know about you, Kixi, but I think I'm going to need a nap when we get back to our room.”

“When was the last time you walked on the beach for hours, without a care in the world?”

“Not since I was a child," she replied. "Thank you for buying me this lovely hat yesterday.”

“It has the double advantage of hiding your identity, and keeping you from getting a terrible sunburn.”

“I am wearing sunscreen like you told me I should," she pointed out. "You smeared it on me yourself.”

“That I did, but it's always warm here and without a hat, you would need to reapply quite frequently. Without my hat, my beautiful blonde hair would go all yuk too.”

“You're so practical, my dear.”

"As charming as your freckles are, I'd hate for something silly like a sunburn to ruin our honeymoon," I explained.

"And you're absolutely right," she agreed.

“And you're absolutely beautiful.”

"Oh, Kixi," she sighed happily.

“I have another question for you, Jhasmin.”

“Go ahead.”

“When did it happen for you? When did you fall in love, I mean?”

"Ah, now that is the question I've been expecting since the day we were married," she remarked.

“And have you prepared an answer?”

“It's easy to answer, even without preparation. It was that hot summers day that you rocked up at my place in your Saab Viggen Quantum GT hovercar. You were like dressed in a blue denim sleeveless top which exposed your cleavage like there was no tomorrow, plus you were wearing matching daisy dukes and those long almost to knee height brown leather boots. Your lush blonde hair was draping down to your shoulders, waving graciously in the breeze, and your bangs... man they were a deal breaker. Then when you allowed me behind the controls of your prized piece of machinery, and you thought I would lose control, the way you leaned your whole body on top of me to take the controls, just feeling you on me Kixi, it sent me in an ecstasy. You know I wanted to just grab you by the neck, push you into me, and passionately kiss you everywhere.”

"A great deal happened during that drive, and yes I have to admit, even though I hadn't fallen in love with you yet, when we made contact skin to skin, it did feel extraordinary. " I commented smiling broadly.

“And you would have lost it all, if I hadn't been persistent in chasing after you afterwards.”

I smiled knowingly. "Indeed. I stupidly shrugged off the possibility thinking it just couldn't happen between us and then... well... you kept persisting over time, never giving up on me, chasing your dream. Then one thing lead to another... and now here we are, married and madly in love with one another."

"Yes here we are. So Kiks when did you finally know?" She asked back the inevitable question.

“Well around about—”

Jhasmin raised an eyebrow. "Around about?"

“Well believe it or not, even though I played hard to get—”

“Yes Kixi that so killed me...”

“Yes, yes, even though I had played hard to get, believe it or not it was that same moment that we got so close in my Saab GT. I simply just didn't believe, thus my.. lets say... reluctance at the time.”

“Umm...”

“But your persistence really did pay off in the end. You really believed in that, and because of it we're together now, and for that I'm forever grateful for. Looking back now, I don't know how I would live without you. Heck I don't even know how I would have achieved all that I have these last few years without your love and warmth.”

"That really means a lot to me Kixi. I just want you to know that." Jhasmin responded, her voice low and sweet, her eyes gleaming.

“Anyway it really happened when we got back and pulled up at your place. You looked at me with those same sparkling eyes, and you almost kissed me. And I almost kissed you.”

“I do remember that," she confirmed. "Yes from that point on I knew something was possible between us, that something real and deep existed. I knew you had hesitated, were not sure, but I also knew that if I worked on it, that it was only gonna be a matter of time.”

"Very well my sweet Jhazzy." I chuckled and then pecked her lips.

Jhasmin who stood to my left, returned a smile and then wrapped her arms around me in an embrace. Her long straight black hair fluttered in the wind, as we watched the rocks by the beach being beaten endlessly by the waves. At the same time my own hair blew like a blonde wave of vibrant beauty, as we thought of only the moment, sharing our love, hugging for a long time.

Back at our hotel...

We passed into the cool marble and glass lobby where the concierge briefly exchanged a few words with Jhasmin, before she preceded me into a lift, which we boarded alone.

When we stepped out of the lift, it was easy to find the right room. Ours was the only door guarded by a bored looking presidential security guard. Once we were in our room, Jhasmin laid her sunglasses on the table.

“So Kixi, have you enjoyed being here in Boracay? Just the two of us— well mostly save for the security details— away from our fast paced lives in the bustle of the city and all?”

“Of course I do," I assured her, removing my sunnies and laying them aside. ”

Jhasmin nodded and reached out to caress my cheek. "What about that nap, my darling? I think I'd like a shower and lunch first." She took off my hat and dropped it on a chair.

“That sounds excellent," I told her. "It was after all a long walk.”

“Yes, it was." She stood on her toes and softly kissed my lips. "I love you, you know.”

I pulled her close. "I do know. And I love you too my dear."

She slid her arms over my shoulders and touched her forehead to mine. "Forever."

“Kixi?”

“Yes?”

"When are you going to kiss me?" She whispered against my lips.

"Um how about right now." And I kissed her soundly.

After a few minutes in our amorous embrace, we slid between the cool white sheets together, shower and lunch forgotten for the moment.

About ten minutes later...

"Oh Jhasmin! Mmmmm..." I moaned.

"Hail to the queen baby." Jhasmin growled in pleasure.

"You truly are the queen alright" I chuckled.

Soon Jhasmin roared as she released her hand from inside of me, while I whimpered in alarm and pleasure. Jhasmin then cuddled me close to her and kissed me tenderly.

"You Okay Kiks?" Jhasmin panted as she kissed me.

"Yes." I panted as I kissed her back.

Jhasmin then turned me around, as my back was now facing her front body while we were watching the view of the beach together.

"It's beautiful isn't it... the afternoon sky?" I sighed calmly.

"Indeed it is." Jhasmin nodded.

She then gently turned my face to hers and added, "Just like you Kiks."

Jhasmin then leaned forward to kiss me romantically again, while rubbing my breasts, and causing me to moan in passion.

"Jhasmin!" I panted.

"Hush those sweet lips my love, and let me romance you for the rest of the afternoon," Jhasmin flirted while stroking my face.

She then made me turn my body around to face her, as she then wrapped her arms around me, ultimately making out with me.

I really enjoyed these passionate and romantic moments with Jhasmin, as I rubbed the tips of my fingers on her back. It was a perfect moment, and it was moments like this that I wished would last forever... that was before I was inevitably interrupted by my chirping slidepad. With a groan, I glanced at it. It was a message from Ālrai.

“Kiks. Got a lead on the whereabouts of the location of the remnants of Skycom Corporation. Good source and data. I have a job for you. Take Paige along with you. Also have a new ship fitted with one of those new Class 1 hyperdrives fitted that I want you to try. Get back to me,” it read.

“Who was it?” Jhasmin asked, eyes closed and snuggling closer.

“No one. I’ll tell you later,” I said.

I looked at the heavenly creature nestled beside me. A new ship with a revolutionary hyperdrive instead of a slower traditional warp drive, plus the opportunity to take another swipe at Skycom Corporation. Enticing as it was, I had my girl who just happened to now be the president of an entire star system. I had everything I needed for the moment. My finger hovered over the delete button.

With a smirk, I tapped “save” instead.

Well, almost everything...

“Hmmm? Okay then." Jhasmin responded, knowing me all too well, but decided to just let it slide. "Kixi my dear love, let's not worry about that now. Just lie back and enjoy the honeymoon, for I will make every moment with you last forever.”

I happily nodded as my wife leaned in for another romantic kiss, and soon I felt her rubbing below me.

"Wanna go again?" Jhasmin flirted with a sexy look on her face.

"Again? You Jhazzy are extremely horny! I guess I was warned that you never relent in bed you vixen." I laughed as she playfully slapped my rump.

"Oooooh I'm really horny tonight Kiks, and I'm gonna go wild on you now and tonight." Jhasmin playfully replied as she let out a sexy growl.

As we continued on with our passionate event for the rest of the afternoon, and continued on into the night, the love that Jhasmin and I shared only kept on growing and growing.

We would always be together and forever, that one thing I was certain was for sure.
