The waiting room was full of people. Not that it wasn't full earlier, but now there were people here who clearly didn't need to be. And they were all trying to get over in the corner of the room. Over to Liam. The nurse who had been minding her own business when we had arrived was now desperately trying to get people to leave. I took a few steps closer to find out what was going on. Liam was taking pictures and signing autographs.

Then it clicked for me. How had I ever been this stupid? I knew I had seen him before, but I didn't think he was famous. I checked my phone. If I hurried now I could make the next bus to Candra's house. I hurried out the door and started walking across the parking lot. All of a sudden, someone yelled my name.

"Liza! Liza wait!" I turned and saw Liam come running towards me.

"What?" I asked a bit more bitter than I had intended.

"Didn't you want a lift to your friend’s house?"

I looked at him for a few seconds.

"Why didn't you tell me you were famous?"

"Would it have mattered? I’m still just me" He looked at me with those eyes that seemed so deep and meaningful that I wished I never had to look away.

“I guess.” He smiled and I followed him over to his car.

It was not a long ride to Candra’s house, but besides giving him the address, we didn’t talk. It felt weird driving with him. I know it shouldn’t make any difference if he was famous or not put as time passed I felt less and less significant sitting beside him. When we arrived, I started opening the car door put Liam grabbed my hand before I could. For a second we just sat there, Liam’s hand warm on top of mine.

“I was wondering if you might want to come over to my house this Saturday?” He asked.

My eyes flew up to his and all of a sudden, my heart raced faster and faster. Had he just asked me out?

“I, uhm I-“

“I mean just to hang out, you know. I had fun today.” He smiled. “Despite we had to go to the ER.”

I giggled. Giggling- really?! Oh my god I though. I took a breath.

“I would like that.” I smiled slightly. The sun was hanging low in the sky and I knew I would have to get in soon.

“I can give you my number? Then you can text me your address.” I said.

He let go of my hand and grabbed his phone out of his pocket. After I had given him my number, I opened the car door.

“Well I guess I’ll see you on Saturday.” He said.

“Definitely.” I stepped out of the car and took a few steps backwards.

“Bye.” I said and he smiled. I turned and walked up to Candra’s house. I knocked on the door and it didn’t take more than a few seconds before it sprung open.

“What took you so long? What happened?” She asked as she practically dragged me inside.

“I’ll explain, I promise.” I said whilst trying to hide a frantic grin that was spreading across my face. “Let me just use the bathroom first.”

I slighted away from her and headed down the hall to the bottom floor bathroom.

“I’ll be in my room!” She said as I closed the bathroom door behind me.

The bathroom was not particularly big, but almost the entire wall above the sink was one big mirror, which made the room look gigantic. I placed myself in front of it and took a deep breath. I could already see that I was becoming slightly tanned and my dark hair was hanging lose in several places where my bun hadn’t been able to hold it together. This just added up making my weird combination of traits looking even wilder. My skin and bone structure made me look a bit fragile, whereas my moss green eyes and dark hair made me look more free and strong. I threw some water in my face and decided I had better get back to Candra. I left the bathroom and found my way to Candra who was lying on her bed checking her phone. When she heard me coming, she turned her attention to me almost immediately.

“Finally!” She gasped dramatically and clapped on the bed beside her.

“You have to tell me EVERYTHING!”

I sad on the bed besides her and I started to tell her all about what had happened.
