"Wauw!" I said. He opened the door to the passenger seat for me.

"It's nothing, really." He said. That was the understatement of the year. His car was a baby blue Chevrolet Camaro, my absolute dream car. I ran my hands over the leather seat as he sad into the car; "It's beautiful, how could you ever afford this?" It took him a while to answer.

"A lot of work." I glanced at him and saw that slightly bewildered expression he had had since I had first talked to him.

I left the topic and instead, I tried to enjoy the feeling of the car as it glided over the road. It was a bit hard though, since my head kept throbbing and every turn the car made send a new burst of pain through my skull. After about 10 min., we finally reached the hospital and whilst Liam tried to find us a parking space, I looked up at the gigantic building in front of me. `New Cross´ it read in big letters on the side of the building. I had always hated this place. Ok, to be quiet fair I had never actually been inside the hospital, but just the thought of it always freaked me out.

After he had finally found a parking space, we went into the emergency room where the secretary said we could sit down and wait.

"You really don't have to stay." I looked at Liam. He sat so close to me I had to force myself not to reach out and touch him. I would be lying big time if I had told him I didn't want him to stay, but he had done so much already I didn't want to trouble him more than necessary.

"I don't mind, really." He smiled. Even his smile was gorgeous. "I just have to make a quick call and then I'll be right back." He went over to a corner of the emergency room and pulled a phone from his pocket. I couldn't hear what they were saying and I had almost started to give in to my rising nausea when a nurse came and told me to follow her.

As I waited, I tried to close my eyes and take some deep breaths. It's ok, I thought to myself, It's all going to be okay.

"So Elizabeth I'm doctor Jensen, it's nice to meet you. Why don't you tell me what happened." I opened my eyes and saw the doctor hovering right in front of me. I swallowed.

"Liza.” I corrected her automatically. “I prefer Liza. “ She smiled at me and I took that as my sign to continue.

“Well, I fell on my back about-" I looked at my phone. ”About an hour and a half ago. They were worried I might have gotten a concussion."

"Does it still hurt?" She asked whilst she was clearly trying to examine me with her eyes.

"All right, well in that case I'm just going to do a few quick test. Nothing that hurts, just to check if everything is okay." And so she did. She checked my pupil reaction, made me count to ten forwards and backwards, all that stuff I would normally see doctors do on television shows. I was finally starting to relax when she said: "You said you fell on your back, right? Would you mind lifting up your shirt so I can check for any back pain or bruising?" She reached out to touch my back, but my arm flew up before she could get any closer.

"No!" I said.

I took a deep breath. "I mean no I'm fine, really, it's just my head." I looked her in the eyes, challenging her to do anything to oppose me. She didn't. Instead, she walked over to a cabinet and picked up a small bottle full of pills. "Here." She handed them to me. "One every morning and one every night for 4 days. You'll be as good as new."

"Thanks" I stood up and started to leave.

"Wait." She said. I turned in the doorway. "If you get hurt again you are welcome here. Anytime."

I walked out.
