The Way-Too-Big Book of Self-Indulgent Drawings

These are all the drawings I did based on my own books. As you can see, I'm an egomaniac, hence this one's the biggest. I do love my characters.

75. "I'm so generous"- Mary-Ann and leaves

Our school's art department was called up to present a load of A5 pieces for a charity auction in town. Feeling particularly generous that weekend, I thought I'd have a bash. Anyone who's read "Scotty and Maria" might remember a little bitty scene where Scotty finds Maria's sketchbook, where she's drawn self-portraits from all her past lives. One of them was "a girl in a tight corset and torn skirt lying in a pile of leaves", intended to be a hint that Maria is actually Mary-Ann Lansfield from Bump in the Night (a theory confirmed in my sister's book, "Purple Girl"). To anyone who's confused by all the book jargon because they're just here to see some pretty drawings, I profusely apologise for my momentary flash of extreme self-absorption. I felt like drawing a few of these "past self" drawings, and I thought I'd start at the bottom, so here it is! The leaves were hell to draw. XD
