5. Chapter 5

"Come on Lauren, your shivering and you need to get back to school," Someone whispered in my ear. Opening my eyes I growled and jumped away from the person holding me. "Check yourself, pup!" He said in a deep voice. Hearing the voice made me want to obey it. I sat down and felt around me knowing that I was safe. "And that was your first round in don't play games with an alpha. Pup, come on we have to get you back to school. But first to find your shoes," He said and walked around searching for them. When he didn't find them I was almost to the point of falling asleep. A hand came onto my shoulder and elbow and I felt myself being lifted up. Seeing for the first time that it was the principle that was here with me.

I looked around as much as I could to see where I might have gone. I was in the forest that Wolfe and I had played in together for the last time. I felt my eyes growing hot with tears and sleep. I forced them to stay awake and tried to get out of the person's arms who were carrying me.  The arms only seemed to hold me tighter. I stopped fighting and looked at him after five minutes of not getting anywhere. "Why are you carrying me? Where are you carrying me?" I asked him. He looked down at me sighing. I noticed how cold I was right then and got closer to not freeze.

"Christ you're cold," He muttered under his breath the moment my face went into his shoulder. "I am carrying you home. I am carrying you because you were not strong enough to walk and now your too cold to walk so I shall carry you until we get to my home," He looked down at me when I made a strangled sound. I didn't know how I felt about being taken to a teacher's home. "If that was because I said I was taking you to my home then be warned there are a bunch of other wolves just like you there. And by that I mean there are a bunch of boys that are probably going to try and one-up each other for your attention," He smiled slightly before looking back down at me, "My warning to you." And he stopped then to drop me on the ground and open the door.

He swung open the door and all I saw was a bunch of boys acting like monkeys. They were jumping from the top stair to the landing. Getting high up and jumping down to show off to each other. Running around the whole house without shirts. I guess that they were too hot to be wearing a shirt. Stepping inside the house I understood why they were half dressed. It felt like someone had put on three fires and then left them going with the heat on. "Welcome to the pack house, Lauren," the Principle spook and everyone in the house froze where they stood. Looking over towards the door I could see them all come in the room and nod there heads slightly to the principle. "Well, I will let you guys get to know each other and then when the school day is done I need someone to take her back home" I looked over at him and saw him looking at everyone one of the boys. I felt a sweat break out on my forehead and sighed it seemed that I was going to get attention that I didn't want.

The sound of the door closing behind me was almost ominous. I was being left in a house filled with a bunch of boys with only pants on and it was hot in here. They watched me as I looked over at them. To break the silence one of them cleared their throat and said, "Well, hi. Sorry if we stare were not used to having the Alpha bring home someone so small and under normal age."  I looked towards the beautiful voice and saw a boy that looked wrapped in gold and silver. I held back a laugh when I saw him. He was cute and I thought that it was weird for my mind to think those words. I felt the weird urge to talk to them, but I waved my hand. He smiled and walked up to me. "Do you not talk?" He asked me. Nodding I tried to back away from him. when he saw this his hand shot out and grabbed my elbow. The moment our skin meet I felt a zap of energy. He held on to me even though his eyes got big. He looked me in my light brown eyes and smiled saying, " My name, by the way, is Xavier. I would ask you what yours would be, but you wouldn't tell me would you?" I shook my head smiling before I almost ran upstairs and into a bathroom. I didn't want to face anyone right now.
