26. What?

Before opening the door, I took the deepest breath I could take and enclosed my fingers over the handle.

"Um- Hi?" I said as I looked at him up and down. He was wearing black jeans with a warm toned grey jumper that had its sleeves rolled up.

"My bad, I forgot to tell you where we're going..." he said laughing.

"I'll go get changed into something more comfortable. Come in?" I asked opening the door wider and taking my heels off.


Her flat was small. Nothing compared to what I had, but I don't blame her. After all, she just started on the job and her salary probably hasn't even come through yet.

15 minutes later ...

"Hi, sorry it took so long!" she said breathing heavily.

I looked her up amd down and couldn't help but stare. She looked gorgeous with no makeup, her lips a blushed colour that I wouldn't be able to resist.

"Let's go." she interrupted my thoughts again.

We got into the lift and I pressed the ground floor button. She lived on the last floor so it would take a while for the lift to go down.

"Where are we going?" she asked.

"It's a surprise!" I said smirking. She is going to love it where we are going.

"Fine then." she whispered under her breath, crossing her arms.

The lift stopped and the doors opened. We walked together to the parking lot, hands nearly touching.


His car was a Rover that matched him perfectly. It was a burgundy colour with black outlines: we got in and he started the engine.

"I like your car." I said, breaking the silence.



"We've been driving for ages!" I said getting impatient.

"It's only been 20 minutes! We're about half way." he said looking straight ahead.

I groaned and sat back in my seat looking out the window.


The car finally came to a stop and so did my patience.

"Finally! Seriously, I don't know you that well: for all I know, you could kidnap me." I rolled my eyes and got out of the car.

"Well I'm not going to do that," he said, sounding fed up." You'll just have to trust me."

I was then suddenly aware of my surroundings...
