The Life of a Sun

The Life of a Sun

1. The Life of a Sun

I bring warmth to the land for the cold mammals.

From the space and the sky.

I rise as the moon sinks into darkness.

My gold face shines bright and high.

From my light is how day starts itself.

I wail and frail as I plunge.

Trying to grasp something.

But I collapse burning with rage.

I look at my enemy.

But unable to do anything I scream.

Into darkness, I collapse in pain.

And as I sleep I want to rise again, and that everyday is my dream.
