I woke up to Katie crying on the other side of the room we shared.

I got out of bed and walked over to her crib,

"Shh, Shh baby it's alright." I whispered, she began to calm down and I laid her back in her crib. I tickled her little belly and she giggled,

"That's my happy little girl." I said with a smiled, Katie giggled and I smiled at her, she was a little angel for sure, my little angel.

I watched as Katie slowly but surely fell asleep. When she did I walked back over to my bed and laid down. I could feel myself getting drowsy, and I slowly fell asleep aswell.

I woke up to Katie's crying, she had been crying a lot more since we left and I know why.

She missed Ashton. And I did too. But I couldn't forgive him, at least not yet.

I got up and walked over to her crib, I leaned over and looked at her little face, I picked her up and cradled her in my arms.

"Shh Shh Katherine Paisley, it's okay." I whispered, and she began to quiet down,

"That's a good girl." I said, I held her on my hip and walked out of our room. I walked into the kitchen and sat Katie in her high chair. I gave her one of her teething toys, she played with while I went to make her breakfast.

I cut up some strawberries, and grapes in half so she wouldn't choke on them, I put some blueberries and some cheerios in another bowl.

I walked over to her high chair and put the two bowls in front of her, she threw her toy on the floor and she put her hand in the bowl of fruit, she pulled out a strawberry and grabbed it in her fist. She put it in her mouth, and chewed it up. She swallowed it,

"Is it good Katie?" I asked her,

"Mmmhh." She said, I smiled and she continued eating. Natasha walked in the kitchen,

"Good morning." I said pouring milk in my cereal.

"Good morning." She replied with a smile, I smiled back at her and grabbed a spoon, I walked over to the table and sat beside Katie's high chair. Her face had fruit pieces all over, and her hands were a mess.

"Oh Katie." I sighed to myself and finished my cereal. I put my bowl in the kitchen sink, and picked Katie up from her high chair. I would clean the tray later, I carried her into the bathroom attached to our room, and I ran a bath.

I took off her little shorts and t-shirt that she slept in and I put her in the tub of warm water.

I got the bin of bath toys and dumped them in the bath as I cupped water in my hands and put it over top her head. I took some of her baby shampoo in my hand and rubbed it in her thin brown hair and all over her small body. Once the shampoo was all over her I took a cup and put the water over her head, she giggled as I washed all the bubbles off of her.

Once all the bubbles were off, I helped her put her toys in the basket, and put it back under the sink. I drained the bath and took her out of the bath tub wrapping her in her ducky bath towel. I brought her into our room and laid her on the bed. I went to her dresser and pulled out a pair of shorts, a t-shirt, a sweater and a diaper.

Once he was dressed I put a hair clip in her now dry hair. I picked her up and put her in her little jumper that hung from the ceiling, she was took small for it but she enjoyed jumping around. I went into the bathroom and changed into some shorts and a t-shirt. I put my hair in a messy bun and picked Katie up.

"Let's go see Daddy." I said, she clapped her hands and I put her shoes on her feet. Ashton had her for the weekend, he had her every other weekend, and this would be the first time Katie saw him in two weeks. I put her in her car seat and carried it out the the car. I clicked it in and went in the drivers seat. I didn't need to worry about packing her anything because he had all the stuff she needed.

I drove to Ashton's house, it was about a ten minute drive and once I got there I took Katie out of her high chair and walked up the steps to the front door. I knocked and within a few seconds Ashton answered. His face lit up when he saw Katie and she reached out to him. I handed her to him and he hugged her tight.

"I'll pick her up Sunday night." I said, he nodded and I went to walk away when he grabbed my hand.

"Please, stay for awhile." He said,

"I can't I gotta go to work." I lied, he nodded and I walked down the front steps to my car. I waved to Katie and pulled out of the driveway. I drove back home and walked inside to my bedroom. I laid on my bed, I felt a tear trickle my cheek.

I missed him.

And I thought it would be easy just seeing him every other weekend but it wasn't.

My heart broke when I saw him.

I missed him.
