The Secret to Happiness

*Complete* Have you ever wondered how to be happy? Well here is the secret.

6. Ch. 6

In the recording, Earl Nightingale tells a story of a field, comparing it to the human mind. A farmer owns a field. He can plant anything of his choice, the land doesn’t care. But whatever the farmer plants the land will be returned. The farmer dug two holes in the ground and planted two different seeds. The first was corn, and the second was nightshade, a deadly poison. After the seeds were planted, the famer covered the holes and nurtured the plants. Before long the plants grew. The first was corn, the second was nightshade. The land returned what the farmer planted. Nightingale then went on to explain that the human mind works the same way. What we put into it is returned to us. Earl Nightingale said, “We become what we think about.”
