Olympia is the perfect angel. Sitting in the clouds, watching over her brother whilst he roams the Earth. But one day, she makes a mistake. The worst mistake anyone could possibly make.
She has no choice.
She has to fall.
Fall from Heaven.

4. Chapter 4

Suddenly everything went black.

Where was I?

There was silence. I tried to walk, but my feet wouldn't move. I tried to brush my hair from my face, but my hands were heavy and couldn't reach.

"You have been denied from your hoped eternity"? What was that supposed to mean? Suddenly it clicked.

I was lost. I now have nowhere to go. I was never allowed into Heaven again, and I was denied from my other world. I was immortal, stuck here, in darkness, forever.

I felt like screaming, but no sound rolled from my tongue. I felt delirious.

"Help, help," I tried to say, but nothing came out.

My thoughts were blocked. I could hardly think. My head was fuzzy, and I was blind.

Then I remembered what Paka had told me in Heaven.

"Olympia," She had said, "You seem to often wonder about other worlds, other eternities. Let me tell you." She had brushed a strand of her auburn hair from her eyes, and held me close to her, "Down below, there is... Him. What on Earth we called "Hell", that is below us. Far, far below us. Any angel that wishes of reaching there must travel for days, Olympia, coming across tests and dangers too. They must pay the proof of their pain, the fruit of their labors...And if they are denied, they are stuck. Stuck forever, in that black cavern. The only way they could help themselves is by becoming a Fallen Angel. But no one has ever done that. It is almost impossible, the feeling that you have betrayed God, and now are betraying him even more..."

That's what I had to do. I began to cry. I had to do this. This is what I had come to.

I had been a pure angel. I had been a pure angel turning dark. I had been...

I will be...

I must.
