Poems 2.0

I'm co-authoring this book!!! He's REALLY good at writing poems!!!

44. Yes or No?~Anna

So I was thinking, that since I'm starting to incorporate or include song lyrics, movie references/titles, characters from movies, and references to previous poems; I was thinking of combining my Guess the Songs book in with my poems. Now, my poems WILL still be meaningful and deep. This isn't supposed to become a competition as in, that I'm trying to put references in my poems. I just figured that when I do, you guys could try to figure what it's from. I use music to express my feelings. I don't make music or anything, but I do listen to certain songs when I'm depressed and stuff. I am NOT trying to change the feeling that this book brings. I just thought that it'd be interesting and it might be better then always leaving authors notes at the bottom.

NOTE: The song that I put in the poem, like the YouTube video or song quote picture Tumblery thing that I publish with the poem won't be the lyric or reference. But that doesn't mean it's not a possibility. ~~

I just thought it was a good idea. The only thing I'm worried about is that the book will lose its kinda darkness or feeling to it. I don't want to make it a happy book. Unless it takes a sudden dramatic turn. I still want it to be dark and sad, and a book that people relate to. Because in my opinion I LOVE books that I can relate to. Especially when it comes to poems. I read happy poems and I'm just like, "What? I can't relate to your happiness. This is actually making me sadder." So yeah I don't want to change the mood that this book brings because I love this book. I can actually express my feelings and yet I can put myself into someone else's mindset too.

It's just an idea. If you all think that it'd change things as in the mood of the book and the meaning. Then I won't. If not, then we can do a trial run kinda.~Anna
