Full moon

Historie til konkurrencen: Fantastiske skabninger og hvor de findes. Jeg har valgt den tredje mulighed, altså at skrive en fanfiction i en anden tid end hvad man er vant til.
This story takes place a long time before anyone had even thought about Harry Potter.
The story is written from Sirius Black's point of view, and is about his 7th year at Hogwarts.
(Billedet som er brugt til cover er ikke mit originale. Jeg fandt billedet på pinterest og klippede derefter selv månen ind og skrev titel + forfatternavn på)

3. ---

The summer past way too fast, and it was almost time to go back to school. Not that I wasn't excited to go back to Hogwarts, but I had enjoyed the break, especially now that I lived with the Potters, who had been nothing but nice to me since I came. They had even payed for all my new school supplies when we were in Diagon Alley, and though I felt it was way too much, I didn't have any other choices. James had been drooling over the new broom in Quality Quidditch Supplies.
On the night of August 31st James and I were running around to get everything ready. We had promised Mrs. Potter to finish packing the day before we were leaving, because she knew that she wouldn't be able to get us out of bed in time. We were finished at 11 pm and was sent to bed, so that we wouldn't be too tired the next morning.

Someone was pushing my arm, so I turned around to make them stop, but now they just pushed my back. "Padfoot?" someone whispered "Padfoot!" "What?" "You have to wake up!" I realized that it was James. "Oh yeah sure... thanks Prongs"
We borh changed out of our pyjamases and went downstairs.
It didn't take long for us to get ready after we had had breakfast, and we arrived at Kings Cross half an hour before the train was going to be there. Mr. Potter got us some carts, so that we could put our trunks on them. There was a lot of muggles on the station, but none of them seemed to notice us with all of our luggage and two owls or when we hit the wall between platform 9 and 10. There was only a few people on platform 9 3/4. I recognized most of the faces, but I didn't know all the names. As the time past, more and more people came to the platform, and it was soon very crowded. it was fun to see all of the excited new first years. There was now five minutes till the train took off and we said goodbye to James' parents and boarded the train. We found an empty compartment and put our luggage in there. Remus and Peter joined us a little while later, just before the train started moving. Remus looked a little worn out as usual, but he seemed excited about going back to Hogwarts.
"Hey guys" Peter said as they sat down on the seat in front of James and I. "How was your summer?" Remus asked. Though I didn't wanna talk about it, I told them everything about what had happened between me and my family. Although they seemed concerned about it, they didn't ask very many questions, and we quickly moved on to another subject. I was glad that we did, I really didn't need to discuss it.
The rest of the ride was all fun. It was good to be back together with Remus and Peter. When we arrived at the station it was all dark outside and the sky was filled with stars. We got inside a carriege and was soon at the castle. It looked magical as always, with light coming out of all the little windows. We walked up the stairs and entered the Entrance Hall. A lot of other students were already there, and we were all in line to get inside of the Great Hall. We sat at the Gryffindor table. Excited chatter filled the room.
After the feast we went to Gryffindor's common room. We were all tired, and it didn't take long until we all went to bed. I slept well that night. It was so good to be back at Hogwarts.
