45. Chapter Forty Five

Natalia's POV

Four seventeen in the morning is what my clock said when I called Jason to pick me up. You would think the whole campus would be asleep in their own corners at this time, but nope. The college students who enjoy partying threw a huge one last night, due to the cancellation of every single class on campus. Almost every single person who was informed about it went. Including me. Vodka isn't my friend and neither is Ronnie when she tells the whole campus about me. I would've stayed longer if, well, people didn't start looking at me once they realized who I was, especially when I was drunk. A drunk mother on medication, not a fun thing to talk about.

Usually, when Jason picks me up, he meets me at the corner of the main road and the corner of campus, where it's just easier to get me and go. I felt bad for calling him so early in the morning, even though he tells me to call him whenever I need him. But tonight he was out with the football players, just having fun probably out in the city somewhere.

Jason's truck came into sight and I pulled my bag further up my sleeve. I stepped off the curb and made my way to his truck, which stopped at the light just a couple feet from where I stood. I threw my bag in quickly and jumped into the truck. I closed my eyes and leaned my head against the headrest and sighed. If I talk, I might actually throw up.

After minutes in the car, Jason parked the car in the driveway of the Football house and got out, slamming the door behind him.

"You're angry," I said, closing my door.

"Just a little, yeah. I had to leave my plans to pick up my drunk girlfriend because she couldn't walk herself home."

"You always tell me to call you if I need you-"

"If you need me to get you because of your emotional state! Not because you're drunk!"

"I didn't plan on getting drunk, Jason! I planned on going to a party and having fun, getting Ronnie out of my mind!" I yelled as he yelled back at the same time.

"I think I'm gonna be sick," I groaned, covering my mouth.

"Not on me, these are new shoes!" Jason yelled, backing up. Liquid came flying out of my mouth, all over myself, my clothes, hands and Jason's pants which dripped down to his new shoes.

"Summers, keep it quiet down there! Some people didn't go on the stupid bonding thing!" Jason looked up to the open window and gave a thumbs up before putting his hand on my back and walked me inside the house.

"You're going in the shower first and then I'll go in. Once you're done, you go straight to my room and change into clothes and you wait there for me, understood?" I nodded and walked into the shower with my clothes on.

"Take your clothes off, Natalia," he sighed. I removed my shirt and pants as well as undergarments and threw them on the floor. I watched as Jason picked them up and left the bathroom with all my clothes in his arms. I looked around the shower and sighed. Men shampoo, men body wash, everything men. Not even any sight of conditioner. I took a deep breath and grabbed the men's shampoo.

"Hey," Jason whispered, closing the door behind him. I looked up to him then looked back to the tan wall covered in pictures. My guess, Kaitlyn put all the pictures of Jason and I up on his wall. "I did that, you know? I was bored last week and I went through that box of pictures you packed for me to look at when I missed you. Matt helped me with it. Kaitlyn organized." I stood up and looked at the very top picture of Jason, Tommy, and Robert in the backyard. The first picture Jason's ever had of Robert and him since he found out about Robert being his son. Carly dropped him off unexpectedly, with only a couple visits and just left him with us, no details as to why just dropped him off. We were glad to keep him, even gave him the guest room to sleep in. For three days.

"I got drunk because I needed to. I yelled at her, you know? I told her things I would've told Zac when I was living at home. I... lost it, Jason. It was like old times with Zac." He sighed and walked to me. "I hate it when you yell at me in the car, especially when you're angry. Every time you're angry at me I think of what happened in the car at the beach. Today it was like I was... you when you would get angry. Scream and yell and punch things. Take your anger out with drinking and telling people what you don't mean. I... did that. I never do that, Jason."

"I'm sorry," He whispered.

"What's wrong with me?" I cried, putting my head on his shoulder.

"Nothing's wrong with you, baby. Nothing is wrong. You did what every other person would do if someone spread a rumor around about them. You only reacted how anyone else would."

"I wanna move, Jase. I wanna move now. I just want to get away from here. Please, take me away from here. I can't stay here anymore."

"Okay, shh." He whispered, sitting both him and me on the bed.

"I'm... sorry for puking all over you."

"It's okay. I didn't even like those pants and shoes anyways," he laughed, wiping my tears away.
