She looked at Paul admiringly and told him that she loved him.’

Chief Superintendent Ralph Mason was anxious to find out the whereabouts’ of the other gang members whose names he had been given by Tanya Oaks who told Jonathan Hardington about a forth coming trip to Tenerife to pick up another package for Darren Ingles. She explained that over a period of eighteen months she had brought in twelve of these so called birthday presents. She had logged the times and dates that she had done this and it worked out that she had brought into the country from Ingles 140 kilo’s of cocaine.

Ralph got his team together who were working on “Operation Payback.”

Rob Black, Kipper Heron and the rest of the team sat as Ralph explained what was going to happen.

“Rob, I want you to fly over to Tenerife to lead the team to bring in Colin Sarin a well known drug baron. We have been trying to arrest Sarin for some years now and we have failed. This time we have someone who is prepared to go over there as a mule for Darren Ingles.’

“She has been doing this for eighteen months now and has brought into the country over 140 kilos of cocaine and other drugs for Ingles. Now if we can link Sarin with Ingles in a drug trafficking and dealing racket we can put them both behind bars for a very long time.’

“I want surveillance; but most of all we need evidence; so Rob I want a tap put on Sarin’s phone line’ Tanya Oaks is prepared to wear a wire to record the transaction between her and Sarin. This time though she will tell him that she knows about the drugs as Darren Ingles has told her everything. She is going to get him to come to the airport with the drugs and it is there that you Rob and the rest of your team will apprehend Sarin.

“I want no bloody cock ups here do I make myself clear. This girl has to be protected at all costs she is putting herself in grave danger here and this is our best chance to nail both Ingles and Sarin to the wall.

“When is she going Sir?’

“She will leave in the next couple of days; so I want you over there before she arrives to set everything up. Once we have Sarin locked up we can then get to work on arresting Barry Davis and his squad.’

“Alright get on it and don’t come back and tell me Sarin got away.’

“Yes sir replied Rob Black.

Rob rang his wife to tell her to pack a case for him within the hour and to dig out his pass port then he organised the six man team who would fly over to Tenerife they would all be issued with weapons. “Kipper Heron with get on with the surveillance until we have enough evidence; then Miss Oaks will get Sarin to bring the drugs to the airport.’ “It is there that I want every exit covered. He is not going to suspect anything as Miss Oaks has done this many times before.’

“We cannot afford slip ups. Keep this under your hat boys. Do not discuss this with anyone and I mean anyone. We don’t want Sarin tipped off that we are coming for him. If we can surprise him this will be the biggest drugs bust in British history.

“Right get packed, we leave in one hour.’

“The men dispersed and then made phone calls the way Rob had just done.’
