Then he was taken to a cell and left for an hour to sweat.’

Rob rang Ralph Mason Down at HQ in Manchester to tell them that they had Ingles.’

We need something to keep him locked up Sir or when his brief gets here he’s going to walk in 72 hours.’

Tell his brief that we found a large quantity of Cocaine in his house and we are doing him on intent to supply a known narcotic.’

“Well done Sir,’

“I will fax you some photos of a few pounds of cocaine that will be enough to satisfy his brief.

“Once we have him in custody we can question him about the robbery and the murder of Graeme Smith.

“Kipper Heron and I are going now because I think Jonathan Hardington from “Crutes” just arrived  just been informed so I’m going down to see what I can get out of him.’

Hello,’ I’m Detective sergeant Robert Black from the Manchester Police department.’

“Is it possible to speak with my client?’

“Yes, we will allow you ten minutes come this way.’

Darren was sitting on the grey waterproof mattress in the eight by six foot cell. There was a toilet in the cell and some Izal toilet paper.

The door to the cell was opened and Jonathan entered then the door was locked behind them.

“Darren this one is going to be a tough one to get you out of. I’ve just read the charge sheet what the hell have you been up to?

Look firstly I never killed anyone, and the drugs are a jumped up charge; they have no proof.’

“What about the robbery; it’s all bullshit Jonathan just get me out of here.’

“I’ll do my best; just deny everything they ask or just say no comment.’

“I know how this works Jonathan.’

Okay now they will be taking us down to the interview room in a minute.’

“Now there is nothing that they can pin the robbery to in your houses is there?’

“Good Jonathan knocked on the cell door and the officer let him out.’

Shortly after Rob Black and Kipper Heron came back and opened the cell where Ingles was being held then escorted him to the interview room.
