40. Bar Night

*A Few Nights Later*

“Holy shit,” Ashton smiles as I walk into the living room. For our night out, all he is wearing is slightly less nice clothes then what he’s wear to work.

I, on the other hand, am wear a slightly tight, red dress; long with small sleeves.

          “Like it?” I smile.

“Like it?” Ashton chuckles. “I love it, babe. You look so sexy.”

I walk over to him, some heels in my hand, and give him a kiss. “Don’t get too jealous of all the guys who stare at me.”

“I think I’m already jealous,” he grabs my hips and pulls me super close. “How about we just stay home? I think this dress would look even better on my bedroom floor.” He starts kissing my neck. “I’m clean, lovely. We can do so much.”

I push Ashton away, whimpering at the loss of contact. “No, we are going to the bar. We are going to have a fun time. Get a little buzzed. Come home and have some fun.”

“Fine,” Ashton groans. “Let’s get going. The cab is outside.”

“I love you, Ashton,” I kiss his cheek. “Don’t forget that.”

          “I could never.”

The two of us exit our house, hopping into the cab outside. Ashton tells the driver what bar to head to, and then we are off.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been to a proper bar,” I lean into Ashton as I watch things rush past out the window.

“Stay close to me then,” Ashton puts his arm around my shoulder. “And you should be fine. If you don’t feel safe or comfortable, just tell me. I don’t want you to hide anything from me. I will never break those promises I told you at the beginning of all this.”

“I know you won’t,” I smile. “I trust you, Ashton. With my life.”

The cab stops outside a crowed bar, and Ashton and I hop out. Ashton pays the man, and then we are on our way inside the bar.

My hand instantly grasps Ashton’s as we move through people.

“No need to worry, lovely, I’ve got you,” he intertwines our fingers.

Once we make it to the bar, Ashton orders us a couple drinks.

“This is so cool,” I lean in close to Ashton so he can hear me over the loud music.

“I’m glad you love it,” he gives me a quick kiss.

          “Are we going to dance?”

“Once we get a drink or two into us.”

“This is actually going to be so much fun,” I giggle. “I can’t wait to see you dance.”

          “It’s okay.”

“Oh, come on,” I grab my drink from the bartender. “I bet it’s just fine. Would you dance in the living room with me?”

Ashton’s face reddens just slightly, “Do you want to?”

I tenderly smile and nod, “I do. I want to do all the cliché movie couple things. Ashton, I don’t want to miss out on anything more. I want you to be it.”

“Same,” he leans in and captures my lips with his. “I really wish we were home.”

“Well, we aren’t, and we aren’t leaving for a few hours. So, let’s drink up, and enjoy this night out.”

“Fine. Let’s get this party started.”

I would write their bar adventures, but I've never been in a bar and don't know what actually goes on. And I'm not about to guess. So, hope you liked it anyways! :D
