“You stay here.’

“No I’m coming with you James.’

“Alright but stay behind me.’

Jim climbed on board then Selene followed. Jim made a signal to Selene not to speak as he went down as quietly as he could. He looked around as Selene followed him until he went into the lab where he saw Foxy and Byron. “What’s going on asked Jim then the fat man stepped out.

Both Jim and Byron went down under the floor of the barge into the holding tank was and brought up one of the boxes containing the rubies, pearls, and sapphires. He opened the chest and his eyes widened. “Very beautiful I must say, just like your woman here.’

Immediately smoke started coming from his jacket and he clawed at his skin as the fluorosulfuric acid burned the cornea and iris in his right eye and his face. He screamed in agony dropping the gun and ran out along the passage, up the short flight of stairs then jumped into the sea. He floated for several minutes but the acid had also gone into his mouth and burned all his tongue. He choked trying to get air as the acid fumes burned the back of his throat. He held his throat swallowing mouthfuls of salt water until his fat body sank slowly to the bottom.
