“Certainly Miss Moreau said Anderson as he closed the door after him.’

Jim waited for a few moments before mentioning that the man’s tongue was almost trailing the floor.’

“James stop being awful; the man was only helping.’

“He clearly fancies you Selene.’

“You are just jealous; that is all.’

“Touché said Rob with a grin as he held out a seat for Monique to sit next to him and they got talking.

When Eric returned he brought several tubes containing the charts that were all dated.

“Thank you Mr Anderson you have been most helpful.’

“You are most welcome Miss Moreau; please don’t hesitate to ask if there is anything else I can help you with.’

“Do you have copies of these charts that we can buy Eric she asked looking into his eyes?’

“Well, we really aren’t allowed to copy material such as this; but I can bring you some drawing and tracing paper where you can make your own copies.’

“Just please don’t press on to hard or the original will be destroyed.’

“We won’t and thank you.’

“Minutes later he brought pencils and paper to use.’

Selene set about tracing the outlines of the coastline then transferred them onto the paper that Eric had left them.’ It took over two hours to draw them out and when completed they looked as good as the originals. Then they placed the traced drawings from 1588 over the new map and it showed how much the sea had damaged the rock formation. It had receded considerably over four hundred eighty eight years.

Jim pointed out where ships had sunk according to his findings. They were marked onto the tracing paper then compared to the modern chart. There was a significant difference in distance from the original chart now that the land had receded. They marked the co-ordinates down then folded the original charts and replaced them in the tubes and then rolled up all the others copies they had made Monique took the red ribbon from her hair and let it fall onto her shoulders. Rob thought that she was even more beautiful now as he held the door for her so she could exit the room.

They made their way back into the main hall where they saw Eric Anderson again they thanked him for all of his help and then he told them to wait a moment.

They all looked puzzled until he returned with an empty tube to place all the copied charts into.’

“How much do we owe you Eric said Selene?’

“Take it with our compliments Miss Moreau; anything to help the IUS.’

“Thank you for you kindness Mr Anderson.’

“Goodbye Miss Moreau.’

“Au revoir.’

They came out of the museum and walked down the steps to the car park.’

“Lunch I think said Rob, I’m starved.’

“There is a nice little place not far from here that we could go.’

“Is it French asked Rob to Monique?’

“No she laughed, it’s English, but they serve nice baguettes there and coffee.’

“Sounds good to me said Jim.’

Okay then lead the way said Rob to Monique as she got in the front seat with him and Jim in the back with Selene.
