Today I am grateful for;


1. I managed to spend some time in my favourite book store, Waterstones, before work. I found some great books about mindfulness and positive thinking – I also looked into more travel books, because I want to travel the world.

2. I managed to read my Chicken Soup For The Soul Book, one story that really stuck out to me was a woman who bought gratitude journals for her and her sisters for Christmas, her plan was to write 5 things a day that they we’re grateful for. She found it so easy at first, but then her husband passed away in February, then she found it incredibly difficult, yet realised that this was the time that she needed to find things to be grateful for the most, soon she was able to write in her journal again. Then I decided to get myself a gratitude journal on Tuesday.

3. Finding this competition, I read another story, about celebrating the small things, she spoke about entering book competitions and that made me think of movellas, when I went online I saw this competition. I think this competition is a blessing from above for me, something I need to keep me going in the difficult month I have ahead of me.
