You’ll stare at the pictures wondering what you did wrong

As you sit and listen to the radio at our favourite song

You’ll never know another love that we both knew.

The hurt that you’re feeling, I’m feeling too

You have to move on, now I don’t care

Or you get lost in the moment, thinking of me here

Going to leave a memory

You may even cry now I’m gone

But it won’t bring me back

Now you’re all alone

I want to feel the sun on my back, the rain, and the mist

The touch of your hands, and the softness of lips

Your arms around me as we danced on the floor

But you were the one who made me walk out that door

If you could stop your cheatin’ heart

We’d still be together and not livin apart

Going to leave you a memory

You may even cry now I’m gone

But it won’t bring me back

Now you’re all alone

It was now finished Dawn closed the book and went to sleep.

When she awoke it was four thirty in the morning and she went straight into the studio

And began to lay down the tune that had been going around and around in her head. She played the song on the guitar. Then did the vocals and added the over dubbing and harmonies herself; then added the drums. By eight o’clock the song was done and her father came in and she played it back for him.’

“What do you think dad?’

“Play it again Princess.’

Dawn played the song again and her father listened intently.’

He played a riff on the guitar and asked her what she thought.’

“Yes I like it dad.’

“We can add some bass guitar as well.’

I think you have another winner there honey, I really do.

“You are becoming a good song writer as well as a singer. I’m really proud of you.’

“We have our own recording Studio at your new house Dawn we can go this afternoon and record it.

Thing is this daddy, I want you to sing it and I want you to do it with The Dune Tunes.’

“Come on Dawn, we haven’t been together for nearly six years now.’

“Then this is a perfect time to reform.

“How am I going to contact them all?’

“I already have daddy, they are meeting us at the studio this after noon.

“What you have been in touch with Mick Garrity and Paul King?’

“Yes, how did you tack them down?’

“I hired someone daddy.’
