2. Move your Me

"Move your me",

he said to me,

"what about you?",

I replied.

"Move your me",

he said to me,

but my me,

didn't want to be moved.

"Move your me",

he said to me,

but my spirit,

was set in stone.

"Move your me",

he said to me,

but my strong soul,

was mine alone.

"Move your me",

he said to me,

determination,

was my foothold.

"Move your me",

he said to me,

"You have no right",

was my reply.

"Move your me",

he said to me,

but unkind words,

were lies to my ears.

"Move your me",

he said to me,

but my confidence,

was not for sale.

"Move your me",

he said to me,

so I screamed,

"My me will never be yours!"
