Now I Won't Forget (Sequel to 'You Never Know')

Years later, this couple has two little miracles.

6. The Visit

The next morning, the kids left for school. Jeremy sat next to me on the couch.

"How about I take my lovely wife out to lunch?" Jeremy smiled and held my hand.

I put my arms around him.

"I couldn't ask you to do that."

"Then don't. We'll just get ready." He smiled.

 I kissed him.

 "I love you."

 "I love you too."

After we got ready, we got in the car.

"So where are we going?" I asked.

 "Olive Garden." He smiled.

 We kept driving.

"You passed the exit." I said.

 "Did I?" He smirked.

 "Jeremy, you rebel." I laughed.

About twenty minutes passed by until the car stopped. I looked out the window to see trees, a pond, and a trail.

"Let me carry you." He smiled.

 I hugged him.

As he carried me down the path, I saw an area with a waterfall. There was a picnic set up along with some candles. I looked at Jeremy and smiled. I kissed him.

"I'm so lucky to have you." I smiled.

"I'm luckier." He laughed and kissed me.

He sat my down and we started to eat.

 I heard some bushes rustling.

 "What's that?" I asked.

 "Let me check."

When he came back he was holding something that was wrapped in a blanket.

 "What was it?" I asked.

"Close your eyes." He said and I closed my eyes.

When I opened my eyes, I saw a wooden box on the table with My name, Jeremy's name, Zach's name, and TJ's engraved onto the box.

"Oh my gosh." I smiled with tears in my eyes.

 "Open it." He smiled.

I slowly opened the lid to see a scrapbook. Inside were pictures of our family.

 I held Jeremy close.

"Thank you so much." I smiled and cried on his chest. He smiled and kissed my forehead.

Kai popped out of the bushes.

 "Surprise!" He cheered.

"Dude, you're a few minutes late." Jeremy laughed as he held me.

 "Kai?" I laughed.

"I made the noises. Jeremy planned this out." Kai giggled.

I smiled and hugged them both tight.

 "I love you." I smiled.

"Buttwipe." Kai smirked and walked away.

"And there's the side of my brother that I've missed so much." I laughed.

I looked at Jeremy and kissed him.

"Thank you for everything." I blushed.

 He held me tight.

 "I'd do anything for you."
