That word I am labeled as, "Refugee." I have no where else to go, what do you want to call me? Lost, abandoned, hopeful.

1. Labeled

We all have a label

Outcast, weird, scene, lost

We all secretly fit into our labels

The one word I am placed with

The one word that hits home

They call me a refugee

One word that has meaning

One who leaves home, due to dangerous conditions in their country

Where am I supposed to go, what am I supposed to do?

I see the stares, the looks

They want me out, but I have nowhere to go

Torn apart, ripped to pieces, my land

It was so nice many years ago, or was that my warped childhood mind?

I miss the fun, the laughs, the freedom of running around with no where in mind

It's gone now, all of our childhood shelters are torn apart, just like our hearts

One word, I am defined as

They call me a refugee

I miss the fun, I miss the dreams

We've realized that they take more than our minds to come true

One word they label me as, the call me this one word

It's true to me, but is it my fault?

Where can I go with my family, where can we take shelter in?

They label me as one word, they call me it as an insult

It's the truth, words can hurt

They call me this one word, they define me as one label as if I am an animal

They call me a refugee
